I play most of these songs in drop tuning as well. I knew Wayne from back in the day and he played them in standard. Trip Eisen used to play some of the stuff in drop though. Surprised you didn't add this is not. Get to the gone is a pretty cool one as well.

Wisconsin Death Trip, Machine and Shadow Zone were in C Standard. Destroy All was in Drop A# and apparently So was in B Standard. Start A War, Cannibal & Cult Of Static are in Drop A#. As for guitars Wayne recorded Wisconsin death trip on a vintage sunburst Gibson Flying V. I talked to the person that now owns it. He did machine and Shadow Zone on an Epiphone Gothic Explorer. Not sure what he did Start A War on but Cannibal & Cult Of Static were on a ESP Viper Baritone. Yeah it's a long comment but I just like to get the information out there. 😂

I played all tracks in drop C but can't remember what kind of distortion I used, anyway I recommend Bias fx2. You may check part 2 of Static-X covers on my channel where I used Bias 🙂

C standard, not drop C. In some songs they tune the 6th string down to A#. Their tuning is
C-F-A#-D#-G-C
Static X is so under rated! My band opened for them in the 90s and they were phenomenal on stage!
