I iron most of my canvases that come in, but I always remove the cover and replace it with parchment first. I use my craft iron on high, no steam like you do, but I go directly to canvas. It works really well and I don't worry about melting the cover.
Awesome tip Susan and Thank you Rebecca..just got a 100 cm long canvas that was rolled really tight on a small tube with a bunch of puckers in it.. not happy but hope both your tips help.
Thanks for this video, I was wondering how ironing the canvas thing worked! I store all my paintings flat in black canvas portfolios when I get them. I put the new crinkled dp's under the other dp's and with the weight of them all they get pretty flat. I'm glad to know how to iron them though in case I want to work on a crinkled one right away.
I got told by one seller who diamond painting came really creased was never iron with the plastic put parchment paper on the diamond painting then iron with steam on a towel on the bottom and a towel on top so and move the iron in just one direction as it could cause the canvas to warp or distort abit. It was very interested in how you did it and the results you got. I will keep this in mind incase I need it in the future. Thank you so much for doing this.
I think the canvas is polyester or some other synthetic blend. I used a medium heat on my canvases , no steam & noticed some distortion just around the edges. i can deal with that.

I spritzed my canvas with a little water and no towel and it worked great!
I use a wet tea towl and steam iron works very well. Iron the back side of the painting.
Love the Guest appearance.
I have used a wet bandana and and placed on the back and ironed it. Works great for me

Would put😢steam while ironing would that hurt the canvas?
I watch lovecraftingforever doit on double sided sticky tape with parchment paper on top of the caves to remove the creases.

Noice
It’s strange that ironing works on some dps, but not on others.
