Thank you! I really appreciate the support! It's much easier when you have a few cars and options. When you only have the one car it's important you buy the right car for you, as you try to use it for everything, and with the wrong car it don't really work. You end up breaking things etc... Thank you once again bud!
I've put the aluminum trailing arms, aluminum front gear box, and aluminum spindle from aliexpress. They have been holding up to some good bashing so far
Are those the same tyres as the DR8.? I've wanted one of these since I first saw them a year or two ago.! They look AWESOME.! Good on you for getting one on the channel mate.! 👍 👍 👍
I've not had a DR8 however I have just had a look at some DR8 tyres online they are similar but the tread on the edges are different. I saw these sometime ago and didn't know if they would be any good. After buying the Yikong crawlers and seeing the quality I took the plunge and brought one. No regrets! Its something different and allows viewers to see other alternatives that are available other than the main stream brands. Thank you for your on going support its really appreciated!
I like the scale, and turning the punch up one notch should be the trick. 48 to 50 MPH is the sweet for me with offroad RCs. Now, I ran my Felony yesterday and it was exhilarating, Im sure you have an Infraction, bring out one of your onroad bashers my brotha.
I will turn up the punch and give it ago! It should get that front end popping! On road action coming soon! Thank you for supporting the channel its much appreciated!
Also, the tb7 and df7 share almost every part. The only differences are the axle lengths, suspension arms, and rear axle housing. You can swap parts and lock the rear diff. It will make the truck much more fun to drive. 300k for front diff and 1 mill in the center. 👍
@@thercstore. it only sits lower due to the tires being a little smaller. I put the df7 rear axle on mine today with the locker. The tires hit the body a tiny bit. Df7 or udr tires would make it drive perfect.
@thercstore. I like the way it drove with the locker! I put my udr tires on it and the rear doesn't rub the body under full compression now. The tires are a tad smaller so it will have a lower center of gravity too. I will test that after work tomorrow
Yes I said you would enjoy it, the bigger tyres seem a bit hard but better less balooning than the UDR but very much like it drive it like the UDR and it will reward you definately a drivers car not a basher. The Mojave is not really a desert truck just a basher with a Trophy Truck/Short Course truck body so being independant alround it will bash better, it should be compared to the UDR Super Baja Rey or the 1/10th versions. I lowered the back of my TB7 so it sits like the UDR and SBR.
Its an amazing truck! I just took it to another track and wow completely different in the next video! I have many plans for it to get it that bit more exciting. I just needed to the hang of the truck as its my first solid rear axle truck of this style. Its definitely different to all the other rigs I own. More of a drivers car like you said than a basher! Thank you for your continued support its really appreciated!
Thanks for the vid. I was looking into getting this truck as well. Is the truck as wide as the mojave. I wonder can you extend the rear width. I know it is single axle, maybe a wider rear stance would stop the roll over. Thank you again for the vid.
Your most welcome! Personally I think the truck just needs a little setting up. This is still box fresh and nothing has been adjusted. Its as wide as the Mojave but the Mojave is independent suspension. The solid rear axel changes the characteristics quite a bit. You could add axel extenders but I think a few adjustments on the shocks should go along way.
Thus truck of cause has higher point of weight in comparison with the mojave. Especially on gras you need to slow down before you turn left/right. But when you ride thus beast on gravel or sand it ferls just perfect 😎💪🏼👍🏼
I just wanted to give an update, the df7 rear axle, locker, and udr tires made this thing rip!!! Barely any roll over. Just a drift machine with offroad capabilities. Give it a go!!
@summy4998 Yeah, I need to set it all up properly. This is all fresh out of the box to show viewers what it is genuinely like out the box. But I know this truck will just get better as I start tinkering with it 😃
@@thercstore. yeah plus the style and the fact it's built for the track not a basher the DR8 is a beast 💪🏾 I've got a DB8SL got tired of breaking it off road bashing so I got the rally conversion kit and turned it into a 911 street basher
Not fair to compare to the Mojave when the Mojave has independent front and rear buggy suspension, the comparison should be against the UDR, which is also live rear axle.
@BGSyd your 100% right, and I have mentioned this in the previous video. However, the reason I referred to the mojave is because it's my favourite trophy truck. Thank you for supporting the channel! It's really appreciated!
@413RC The UDR in the uk is $1149.99 usd, so the TB07 is a much cheaper option here. Parts availability is there, just not from every hobby store but no issues with parts online.
Which is understandable! I completely get it. Yikong have produced many cars where other manufactures have rebranded them. I brought a few Yikong crawlers. The quality was epic! Hence, I brought this. But I do understand what you mean.
You need to learn to drive They are soposed to have be Front heavy Nimble Locked rear diff on the appropriate throtle controll and it wont flip open diff stops wheel from spinning sliding
@1973XBB it's actually very scale to the real desert / rock racer Ford Bronco Ultra4 . It's probably the only rock racer trophy truck that's actually scaled looking to the real deal. But fair comment it's not to everyone's taste, which is cool.
Great honest vid. I only intend to use mine on sand. I have the 4 and 6s mohaves for mild bashing.
Keep making this great content 👍

I think that grass is not the place for that truck. It slides well on good dirt, but grass or asphalt and it’s a roll master!!
I hear you! But on grass it hooks up so good until it gets a traction roll lol. regardless its such a fun truck!
@@thercstore. it looks fun. I think you are absolutely right about running it scale. It’s not remotely set up for bashing.
@RC-Closer1313 100% bashing should be left for truggys and monster trucks, in my opinion 🤔
