  • We tried American hyacinth bean variety a couple years ago which taste a strong unpleasant flavor and spongy texture. We did not enjoy it. We finally got Asian hyacinth bean varieties grown as vegetables. We finally cook this bean again and surprisingly it was so delicious!!

I just made these for the first time with your seeds. I didn't get the "meaty" ones, but the thinner podded ones. They're delicious! Thank you so much!

I enjoyed seeing these types of videos, first because I showed them to my family and immediately they get hungry, second when eating fresh veggies from your garden nothing compares to the joy and love you feel. Thank you

It is good marketing to show how to cook the food that you sell in your store. I enjoy seeing how you cook the food, I miss seeing the gardening showing how you grow and I am still waiting to see the Barn with your seed business moved there from spare bedroom in your home to the Barn Kent has been working on, that he said would be ready to show in October. I looked at all videos and no video showing the Barn Seed Store. I hope that will be soon.

I wonder if Kent ever sneaks out for a burger and fries? Just kidding, love your videos!

Discovering new vegetables to grow is so much fun...and delicious ! I am in zone 9b, just north of you in Florida and our weather and insects make it very challenging to garden, so I'm happy to find varieties that will thrive here. My orders from you were delivered quickly and the sowing info on the envelopes is very helpful. Thanks for your videos, too.

Gabble Kook, another RUclipsr said that if you remove the little green shoot in the garlic clove before you cook it, it will stop you having gas as she also has the same problem. I’ve never tried it but you could give it a try if you want to have garlic? You just cut the clove in half and flick out the little shoot.

I was able to get some Indian green hyacinth bean seed this year. They are slightly longer in size. Wondering if it tastes different too. I’ll be planting some next year.
