- Switching to vertical shooting has never been easier. This S-63 rotating camera plate from Ulanzi is becoming one of my favorite creator tools.

Love the review. Recently I started creating short contents. This rotating plate is definitely the solution. Before, I would rotate my ball joint tripod head and put a lot of stress on the joint. With this, my setup can finally be balanced and I don't have to worry about it tipping over.
Freaking love this plate. I want to get the Falcam version. I also love using that plate as a side handle. Its great! Ulanzi actually accidentally sent me an extra one on lol I have been using that F38 system now too I find myself switching over as well. Nice camera! I really like the idea of that ZV-E1. Great video! I have been meaning to make the exact same video lol
Are you able to rotate it the other way vertically to where your lcd screen can be faced upwards? Thanks
Wait, isn't the flip out screen blocked by mount/tripod/head? Can it rotate the opposite direction?
Yeah - that's the biggest downside to this one. Filming from behind the camera for none talking head vertical shots is great. But in front of the camera - you lose visibility of the screen. And unfortunately - it does not rotate in the opposite direction.
I will usually switch the tripod into a vertical mode if I need to shoot vertical video in front of cam - but that doesn't happen too often for my use case.
Also thanks for the comment - big fan of your stuff!
One quick question, how is your tightening ring is black color instead of maroon or red?
The lens release button… how new is that? If I ordered a new one will the send out their old stock of them without button first before shipping new ones with it? Their site still has photos of it without button…
I have the new version with the red button, there is no release lens button but there is a space where you can press the camera release button directly(to release the lens), it works perfectly :)
Theres also kit 3304 from Ulanzi - I have the Falcam F38 clips from Ulanzi , I think it designed to fit those clips.
Is this a general model?
Can I use it also for de Z6II
does it work with camera rig attach to zv e1?
Hi, do you know if this will work with a cage?
Does this fit Sony a7s (first gen)?
Does it work with the A6700?
The link seems to redirect to the old version. Do you mind confirming the model number/name of the new version? Thanks!
So it won’t work on gh4?
I bought the Small Rig version because it’s directly compatible with the manfrotto rc2 qr heads. Works well with the 135, but it won’t fit the tamron 35-150, and probably the same with other fat-bodied lenses. FYI.
Major flaw of any of these rotating collar system is that any lenses or adapter with any protruding switch or ports at the bottom part cannot be used. None of my Tamron nor any adapters with the built in release switch can be used.
where is the link ?
gimbal?
my error I figured it out
It doesn't fit on my A7iv 😢
Oh man! Sorry to hear that. I’ve been able to fit it on my A7RV and FX3. But the new ones they have fit the larger camera bodies perfectly. I would just make sure to buy the one with the lens release button vs the one without.
Does the new version work with Tamron lenses? I read online that the previous version doesn’t work with their usb-c included lenses. Thanks!
did not see a canon version
Doesn't fit the A6400 properly - the body is too short and the feet at the bottom don't quite touch the body causing it to wobble. Also with the small grip, you can accidentally press the lens release just holding the camera.
Ah, B#m. No 180 🤔
Or stop effing shooting verts
Or not 🤷🏻♂️
