I think the opposite about the Turbo Diesel engine. It was slow, noisy, and not soft at all. But it was rock solid. Except in the mpg, the petrol engines were so much better.
I’ve got an X reg Mk2 mondeo Verona 1.8 16v. It’s ok. Only done 42,000 miles. I had an E36 bmw 318is a few years ago and that knocked spots off any other car I’ve ever driven
@@shanepatrick641 She didnt make it I put 4500 dollars into a new tranny flywheel starter pan gaskets and engine tranny mounts just for a lady to pull infront of me in a highway 2 weeks later
@@shanepatrick641 she impacted the side of a 2020 arcadia GMC really destroyed that SUV collapsed the strut and crack the wheel rim 5 fuids on the ground. The mondeo only lost the front bumper could still drive around but I was quoted over 15.5k starting in just front end restoration. Now I got a 2006 volvo S60 AWD Turbo
Had a Mk3 in the UK and loved it. Bought a MK4 xr5 turbo in Australia - big mistake, shit quality and Ford Australia won't stand behind them. I'll never touch a Ford again.

I got the V6 with 4spd Auto Its naise as fuck.
Mine is from 1996 :) Sides are gettingh rusty though
