- Hi Fam! I am back with a new vloggy vlog.
In this vlog, I shared few days in my life living alone in Nigeria as an introvert.
I shared briefly how I cope with unclean water in my apartment, little kitchen organization & also considering how stressful outings can be in Lagos, I try to put a couple of outdoor activities I’d like to do in a day, if I can. :)
My aunt got married & in addition to that day being a celebration of Love, i also got to see family - I don’t get to see them often now. Lovelyyy moment for your girl.
I’ll be sincere, I get quite nervous each time i have to post a new vlog on here lol. But erm it’s up now & I sincerely hope you enjoy watching. :)

I’ve also been very sick living in an apartment like never before and I’ve had the same sickness come back that I didn’t have until moving here. Be careful girly! Take care of yourself 💜

I'm so sorry you're having an issue with mold in your home. Yes, mold can make you feel ill, especially black mold. If you don't get better, I would recommend moving. I'm very connected to my little apartment, too, so I know it would be very hard. Love from the US.

Hello from UK! I love your vlogs, my boyfriend is half Nigerian with family from Lagos so it’s so cool to see a little of what life is like there! Also, about the mould; I grew up in a house with mould in my bedroom and it gave me asthma and respiratory problems. In general it can also weaken your immune system and cause recurring bacterial and viral infections. Wipe any patches you see away with bleach. I hope you start to feel better soon now that you know what the issue might be!

I have mold problems too, it's always raining where I live. Usually Vinegar and Alcohol mixed together are enough to keep it at bay, but sometimes I have to use pure bleach on my walls 🥲 It's not the bad kind, but it's still annoying.

I love how u show me how is it like in Nigeria and i feel u when ur running water stop working. Here we have same problem , even tho its not entirely stop running, but we have to manage our water consumption because long drought season this year. I had issues with mold in my place too but i didn't know there was mold until i had to do some repairs (hidden behind baseboards). If it's just on the surface and there's no moisture issue, you can kill it by spraying on a mild bleach solution and wiping it off and making sure it dries. I had been feeling sick (tired and run down feeling) for months and i felt so much better after dealing with the mold! Good luck to you and thank you for these little peeks into your life in Nigeria ❤
I think there’s a moisture issue with my apartment. The only thing now is that, since it stopped raining so much, It has reduced. But I still see the mites around.😪

yes yes yes !! Mold is very damaging to your health, it landed my son in the hospital and we had no clue what was causing his ailments, turns out the mold was inside the walls 😳, please meanwhile ventilate your apartment and wear a mask as much as possible 🫶🩷🪷

They were actually everywhere at a point in my apartment. (The wall, ceiling, at the back of my furnitures, my kitchen…)
My landlord had my apartment fumigated, and somehow it helped but not fully. (Sighs)😔

And, like you, I also am looking for another apartment this coming spring, even though I love my apartment now. I'm an older gentleman, widower, and change brings much anxiety. However, one thing I have learned is to trust in Providence, and know I'll be okay in the long run. I'm sure it will all be okay for you too. Rely on your faith.
