Days in the life of a Nigerian Living Alone | life of a Nigerian girl
In this vlog, I shared days in my life living alone in Nigeria as an introvert and trying to get myself together after weeks of preparing & writing exams.
This vlog started on a Thursday evening and ended on a Tuesday. There seems to be a lot of outdoor activities shown in this vlog than usual and it’s because I had to be outside every single day. As an introvert, I found this tiring though, but for the most part I really didn’t have a choice. 😶
Hopefully someday, I’ll get past being nervous about posting on here but right now your girl is quite nervous yet again! A lot of love was put into this & I sincerely hope you enjoy watching. :)

Hmm, I will say it’s a bit better now that it hasn’t been raining much. I don’t know what the situation would be like again if it starts to rain.😒

hi! if you want to keep blueberries fresh for longer, don't wash them when you intend to store them. You may have noticed that blueberries have a little white coat? that you can rub off or wash off. But it actually helps to keep the blueberries fresh for longer! So put them into your fridge without washing and wash instead shortly before you want to eat them :) I hope this helps and best of luck!
If I leave fruit or veggies (that are in a container) longer than a couple days in the fridge, I put a paper towel in the container because it absorbs the moisture and helps them stay fresh just a little longer! This works well for lettuce. There's some veggies (like radishes) that I leave in a bowl of cold water in the fridge and it works excellently to help preserve them. This helps them stay fresh and crisp for over a week! That prob wouldn't work for blueberries but it's good for things like cut celery, carrots, and potatoes.

my mom always stuffed paper towels into all produce she bought and now I do, it works and lasts way longer esp for berries

You've got a lot of self-discipline to do all of that after a hard day in college. Even cleaning the fan!! I've NEVER done that in my life! So many fruits! My favourite fruits are blueberries and cherries. Eat them forever. Think i’d be happy in that fruit market.

To preserve your berries or other fruit, you can make some jam with it. Boil them with some sugar and a little lemon juice until the fruits burst. It goes very nice in yogurt. :) Thank you for the lovely vlog.

@@graceugwu4976 Hi Grace! I haven't tried to store it outside of the fridge, but sugar and lemon juice are natural preservatives, so I do think it can extend the life of the berries for maybe a week or two. Maybe worth a shot! Obviously check for any visible signs of spoiling before eating. :)
When at home especially when you are staying in for the day of before going out take those same banana or plantain skin and rub on your face like a cream or let stay for about 15-30 mins or however long you will to have it on your face before washing it off.Just love your blogs they are soothing refreshing and no photocopy like so many and ain't have no taste.

To be honest I am happy to see that you are at home with your domestic chores and you're really organized. You also take care of yourself very well. I used to have tinea versicolor. It’s a candida overgrowth. I didn’t eat any dairy or yeast for a few months and that Apple Cidar Vinegar worked wonders. It went away. Also I love your channel. So soothing. Happy holidays 💜
