    I like that you guys did an honest review of the two companies. I have been trying to find real reviews that weren't sponsored by the companies. I have been going over a bunch of stuff. If it's no trouble, can I ask did the Mytefl actually send you a hard copy of your certificate along with a digital or pdf copy at no charge, or was there a charge?

    • @pbjofficial
      @pbjofficial  5 лет назад +1

      thanks Katie, glad to hear :) Once you’re finished the course myTEFL sends you a PDF of the certificate. You have the option of ordering a hard copy from them (which I did) for about $10 USD afterwards!

    • @Speckled_Butterfly7206
      @Speckled_Butterfly7206 5 лет назад

      @@pbjofficial oh awesome. That is not bad, one company wanted $75 for a hard copy. Ok, one more question, since completing your tefl, have you had any trouble with your job placement, which I guess is outside of the US, but did they say if the certificate will be accepted here in the US once you come back? Thank you for taking the time to answer if you can. It's very much appreciated.

      TEFL is more useful for teaching outside of your home country. We’re based in Canada, will be heading to China and have had no troubles so far with it!

    Hi there
    I watched your video abut My TEFL and also finished it few days ago. I am a bit confused, because of all the bad reviews that My TEFL gets on the internet. People say that they are not accredited TEFL online course and stuff. Any thoughts on that. Would appreciate your opinion. Best Regards Nick.

    Phoebe, did you have to do any practical assignments for mytefl? If so, what was it like? I started the TEFL Academy course and I’m having trouble with the practical assignments. I feel like the course didn’t prepare me well. Especially because I’m new to teaching,

    • @pbjofficial

      hey Sarah! No practical assignments for myTEFL - if you don't feel prepared I highly suggest reaching out to the school you will be teaching at and ask for any resources from existing teachers. As well there are a lot of sites online like www.teachervision.com/teaching-strategies/new-teacher-resources that you can have as a reference point. Good luck!

      You should definitely try to use your bachelors degree in education as leverage, there is room for negotiation. As well, interview with several employers.
