Thank you for this review. Very thorough and sooo helpful to those of us trying to empty the dust bin for the first time. Getting the lid off that first time is very difficult, just like you said. Your other comments were precise and helpful. Thanks again!
Great video, thank you! I had watched several videos before AND consulted the instructions, and this video is the only one that actually said how to remove the cup to empty out the dust. Awesome!
Thanks 🎉you help me figure out how to open the lid, and I found out there was other attachment in the bottom of the box . After watching your video 🙌🏾😊
Thanks for the good demo. I bought it for the car. Disappointed in suction. Eats battery life going over and over the surfaces. I've been spoiled by Dyson in the past since I could get the whole car done in one charge by not having to go over the surfaces multiple times.
Thinking getting this, I saw the larger one that looks like hybrid between dust buster and stock vacuum. But it's larger and least this one more portable. Old dist buster even after cleaning and changing filter seems to be blowing air and dust out
Thank you for the review! I thought I must be missing something and you confirmed I didn't. Purchased it to help empty the toilet before cleaning and it was laughable at how poorly it did. Barely holds anything and need to disassemble it to get the cup of water out. I thought maybe I was missing a quick release on the water so I could suck up the water and dump it quickly. Nope. It's being returned immediately as it was $65ish. (Did get another battery but what good is the battery if the product is awful.)
So I bought this and it sucks well but starts to suck very poorly with dirt dust and what have you as it all clumps on top of that small intake square. Would be great to be able to use it without that. Great for wet but not good at dry unless you wipe dirt off the square frequently
I'm still rockin' the old blue one I got somewhere around 2006. It's great for clean-ups that are a bit on the small side for a shop vac. It's small enough that it's fine to lug around with you when you think there will be clean-ups like cutting a 12x12 piece of sheetrock out. Anything much bigger than that I bring something else.
How is this if the liquid spill was on a RUG/CARPET? Does it suck up the water fairly decently? The demo here was on a hard surface which is easy to clean up but on a rug?
I like the video it was a good review to dump the vacuum and i like the vacuum to clean small spills or the vehicle. You kind of have to preas down good to get the suction.
Needs a wall mounting option. Cfm is very low so it's not good for sucking regular debris. Definitely most powerful for it's size for water pickup though. It has a lot of pressure with the water squeegee. It's perfect for cleaning up around laundry room, bathroom, etc. Taking the mop, shop vac, or towels would be too annoying.
This vacuum is awesome, you can’t beat it for the price. I got two now, one in the shop and other in the house. Also ditch the 2ah for a 4ah, it’s a huge difference.
@@ApartmentMaintenancePro exactly, I see people saying oh I’ll pass, but I use mine in the house for kids water spills and I’m still amazed how it pulls drinks out the carpet. I don’t have to get my big shop vac from the shop anymore.
Thanks for this review video. I've been looking at this dry/wet Ryobi vac for a while now and for the use in car vac only. Looks like the tool is good for the seats, but questioning if the power suction is strong enough 🤔.
So far I've done my car and my girlfriends car and it will definitely leave stuff behind if you don't do multiple passes. It also has to be at just the right angle to get maximum suction when vacuuming the car floors. I think any type of shop vac will do a better job but they are also more bulky/pricey.
Can you test this wet and Dry vacuum on a bed mattress. Can you spray upholstery cleaner on the bed mattress if theres a coffee stain. Will the vacuum be able to suck the wet upholstery cleaner out of the mattress after you left it for some time?
Looks just a half step better than my older model. I got it to clean up around the cat litter box and it’s pretty bad for that job. The round shaped head doesn’t cover much area and the suction can’t get the cat litter up without taking 20 strokes per granule (ok that’s exaggerated a bit, but it feels like it). My days on is much better, but that pig cost me a bundle so it should. Sadly my old black and decker fold up died or I’d still be using that.
@@ApartmentMaintenancePro I held the vacuum between my knees and was able to twist it off. Now it's very easy! Sorry, I completely forgot to come back here and mention that. Thanks for your video. It was very helpful! Love this vacuum.
Thank you for the detailed review. The brand name is the only thing that makes it impressive. When you said 10 minutes of use. That also was a deal breaker.
I use a shark wandvac and considering switching to this. I need something that fits in a backpack to reach back and continually vacuum the car as I drive Uber. The shark is so weak
Thats a handheld vacuum, you cant expect the power of a shop vac… and that car dirty as shit! I have this and i brush the dirt in my floors before i run the vacuum to loosen it up and it works perfectly. He didnt give it a fair shake at all.
Buy charger and batteries, get the tool free. I chose this vacuum. I will carry it in my car, or for minor clean ups in my work shop. (Wood chips). Thank you for the video, it is absolutely correct.
I bought a new one for $20 in the bargain bin at Home Depot. Two take aways, I found a steal. HD never loses money, which tells me the mark up on this must be incredible.
@@rahsoles4151 I believe they're in every HD. They won't have an isle or anything like that. It's a rack that will have randomly marked down merchandise. Ask a sales associate, I'm sure they can point you to it.
Not sure if this thing works at all. Your car was gross and you kept using it when it was full. Doesn’t look like great suction, will watch a few more to decide before I buy.
Came here because I couldn't figure out emptying it the first time! Thank you for the info. I agree with your thoughts.
I had the same problem.. I was scared I was going to break it😂 this video just saved me lol

Thank you!! I could not figure out how to empty this thing for the life of me. Really informative video. Great job!!

Picked it up and testing it myself, currently have other bigger wet/dry and this was on sale, thanks for the review!
Thanks for showing us how to empty it. We figured it was simple but the written instructions didnt cover it. Perfect for the carpeting on the steps.
Was trying to figure out how to add the attachments. Much helpful
Thanks 🎉you help me figure out how to open the lid, and I found out there was other attachment in the bottom of the box . After watching your video 🙌🏾😊
Thank you !!! This was very helpful and your instructions were very clear !!!
Reminds me of the black and deck rechargeable dust buster good old days in the 80's 🤟🤙
I like it for its convenience, versatility and portability. It’s definitely great for the car and my apartment.
Thanks for the good demo. I bought it for the car. Disappointed in suction. Eats battery life going over and over the surfaces. I've been spoiled by Dyson in the past since I could get the whole car done in one charge by not having to go over the surfaces multiple times.
Bought it for use in my camper, works great, especially catching the debris around the door!
It’s looks like it’ll be handy with small spills in cabinets, when changing faucets. After sweeping a small dust pile. Thanks for the review

Same here!
Thanks for the video man!

That's good for me the smaller the better as long as it's powerful enough to clean my car so I can keep it in the car

Just got mine and you confirmed what I needed to hear. Thanks.
It really does work well, a lot easier than pulling out the shop vac.
Home Depot has the bare tool on Sale for $21 right now.
I just bought one and the accessories do not fit the accessory adapter.
I'm working travel nurse assignments and this is perfect for my car travels. Thanks for the reveiw.
Thanks so much!

It’s strong enough brother, I got two
Not sure I would use this regularly for drywall dust. Would probably kill the motor pretty quickly.
Can you test this wet and Dry vacuum on a bed mattress. Can you spray upholstery cleaner on the bed mattress if theres a coffee stain. Will the vacuum be able to suck the wet upholstery cleaner out of the mattress after you left it for some time?
I don’t think it will work well for that
I wanted see if you put some foaming cleaner down on some carpet. Would it work like a shampooer?
I don’t thing it would make a good carpet or even spot shampooer
I use it for my car. I've been taking the filter out if I'm cleaning up liquids. Are we supposed to leave it in?
If I recall the instructions say yes. Which sucks because it takes forever to dry
Thank you
Have you've been able to find replacement filters so that while one is drying, I can use the other? thanks

Thanks, I couldn't figure out how to empty it 😅
You're welcome!!
Just got this for $20 today at home Depot.
Good deal for the price.
W Reeee-obi vid ❤.

days on = Dyson
I just got mine but the filter won’t turn :( I’m turning it clockwise to open but it doesn’t budge.
For me it was kind of stiff to turn and remove for the first time

I think some specs would be helpful. CFM ,Pa, watts, air lift, inches of H20
Will keep this in mind for next review
Thanks for the video
You bet

Ya doesn’t last very long
Thank you for saving me from this suction-less vacuum.
Does it work on arm hair? :)
It's good enough for the car task to keep it in cleanup applications. To many of us want big do all results for peanuts
Yes exactly 👍
I use a shark wandvac and considering switching to this. I need something that fits in a backpack to reach back and continually vacuum the car as I drive Uber. The shark is so weak
Not impressed so far with it. Good demonstration and I appreciated it.
Ya definitely not for everybody. I've found myself using it a lot more than I thought I would though honestly.

Ryobi 2Ah barely sucks anything. My 18V Ryobi weed trimmer, barely cut grass, it was so weak.

Whattt where are those bargain bins at

Looks like same as Black and decker makes nose but not allot of suction. Not good.
42 mbar vacuum power.
Einhell TE HV 18/06Li = Turbo Mode On 72 mbar
I use some Ryobi products but this product I will avoid at this moment.
Ya I've been using it more and more and kind of just want to junk it

Cost of vacuum at home depot was $49 and battery going to run close $50 $85. Only thing it has going for it is convenience. Score it 3 out of 5.
That 2AH battery life is horrible. I would upgrade to the bigger battery.
Im happy with the 4AH's they go on sale all the time where you can get 2 for under a $100
Got this as a free tool from Home Depot
2:28 im out value my time too much to clean the cleaner
30 $ at home Depot. Just keep it in the car when I clean my car
you need to blow and suck at the nozzle !
That dirty is not for this vacuim.😢😮
Mehh
not strong enough. sad.
Wow it sucks
Then why did you buy in the end if u don't use for both it makes no since then
Yes
