    Uncle Ted has been scoffed by many, but his wisdom prevails!...just look at how spry and vivacious he is at his age...still so full of life...kudos to Uncle Ted!!

      Wisdom? All Ted Nugent ever had was "The Redneck Authoritarian's Rulebook." He's as one-dimensional as a cardboard cut-out of a human being. Believe me... Ted lacks the psycho-spiritual depth that's prerequisite for anything resembling true wisdom. He's never unfolded the multidimensional layers of his own being nor explored the outer limits of human consciousness through entheogenic mystical journeys. Ted is so misinformed he still mislabels psychedelics / entheogens, which are perception altering substances, as "dangerous killer drugs"... What a boob.

    I am a kid of the sixties and seventies and honestly Ted Nugent was a model of strength that I used to navigate high school and life . I saw over 160 concerts including Ted ( TEXXAS JAM and 4 0ther times ) and never did drugs . I raced motocross and Road Raced and soon I had no time for drugs or that BS . I have honestly had a great life ...a Son daughter inlaw and the smartest most beautiful granddaughter and I'll be damned if I can figure out what the allure of drugs are . Thanks Ted...I and many others see you are the King of guitar rock n roll ! I still say your Double Live Gonzo is the best live album ever made ! PK

I still feel so bad about all of it . Ted only had his first album out and maybe Free For All ( I've had a stroke so I'm not sure ) plus the Amboy Dukes albums .Lynyrd Skynyrd were really hitting their stride and making incredible music . November 20,1994,I polished off the rest of what I had left out of a half-gallon bottle of "5 O` Clock"Gin,crying,sobbing to GOD to finally make me realize that I`ve killed any and every relationship I`ve ever known and have destroyed any semblance of sanity and love that I had for everyone around me,and somehow am still around for a reason that I FINALLY had to figure out.........To make this long trek a short jaunt,it`s been 28 yrs.,7 mos.,and a long,winding,pothole-filled dirt road of trials,tribulations,and yet there`s NO WAY I could or would have handled it all and come through it all with such an abundance of happiness and self-respect,if I hadn`t done it with this amazing second chance at life through sobriety.....Thank you for your words and your long middle-fingered attitude,Uncle Ted;it`s been an honor to show my boys that it`s up to them to make their own life-changing decisions by seeing the results of those who did it the wrong way,and so far,so good,they`re well on their way to an absolutely astonishing future.......Again,it`s an honor to be a real fan of yours,ever since I saw you open for KISS on Dec. 13,`87(I think you said it was your b`day show and you had brought a lingerie-clad young lady,which you said onstage was"your wife")and life`s never been the same since........................Steve from "Downeast" Maine

    I'm an ex pro wrestler from back in the late 80's when the WWE was still the WWF, worked on cards for them and the NWA but mostly for Independent promotions I was 5x's champion in the defunct WWA and I can't begin to tell you how many people I wrestled or knew in wrestling that have passed from a mixture of alcohol, drugs, steroids, and pain pills ... many of them before the age of 50. I am 62 and did my share of beer drinking, it blew up my pancreas 2 years ago and now I don't even drink beer! But I'm glad I never hit the heavy booze, pills, drugs, and everything else most of the Boys were doing. It's very sad to hear about them passing, and I thank God I'm still pretty healthy, although my joints are all beat up from the sport and years of heavy weight lifting. I sometimes wish I had made a decision to stay totally clean, but I'm not going to lie, some of the party's were a lot of fun. I got into archery about 3 years ago myself, and it is a lot of fun .... I love it! God bless Ted, America, and all you God fearing people out there trying to do the right thing!

      @tobeunknown3417 Yea I did jobs in the WWF but took some liberties rather than just getting annihilated. (Put in Joe Champ vs Jake the Snake & see that I did body slam him ... Although that was frowned upon.) I was heavyweight champion in the now defunct WWA 5x's ... But it's not about ego! It's about the money! I have always been secure in who I was to ever really care about winning or losing ... It was about the pay check and the many fringe benefits that came with it! It was about a childhood dream come true & getting to wrestle guys I watched on TV as a teenager, the traveling and the places I got to see that I never would have done having a 9-5 office or construction job.
      People like SD Special Delivery Jones, Frankie Williams, and many other glorified jobbers were laughing all the way to the bank getting paid big money for basically a part time job (When you figure out actual time in the ring.) traveling all over the place enjoying life!
      Shit you can be a no name and go to Japan for a couple of months guaranteed 5k a week! So if being a jobber seems like a negative role to you, your missing the big picture! I loved all of it! Sure being a champion and wearing the strap in an independent federation was very cool, but even doing jobs was fun as well ... at least it was for me! And when you went to the parties afterwards you got almost the same attention as the big names with everything basically free for you. It's just sad to me that many of the boys over did the free food, booze, women, and drugs and they now are no longer with us! Interesting that most of the bigger names are the ones no longer with us, and most of the jobbers like myself are still here in our elder years going strong! So you can think what you want about jobbers ... Me? I don't regret it at all! Anyway God bless ya!

    “I got my physical notice 30 days prior to [being drafted],” Nugent told High Times. “Well, on that day I ceased cleansing my body. No more brushing my teeth, no more washing my hair, no baths, no soap, no water. Thirty days of debris build. I stopped shavin,’ and I was 18, had a little scraggly beard, really looked like a hippie. I had long hair, and it started gettin’ kinky, matted up.”
    Nugent continued, “Then two weeks before, I stopped eating any food with nutritional value. I just had chips, Pepsi, beer-stuff I never touched-buttered poop, little jars of Polish sausages, and I’d drink the syrup, I was this side of death. Then a week before, I stopped going to the bathroom. I did it in my pants. Poop, piss the whole shot. My pants got crusted up.”
    Nugent also explained that he was typically “extremely anti-drug” but “I snorted some crystal methedrine” in order to avoid the draft, which is ironic considering his long-held stance on drugs.

    Beetroot juice and pomegranate juice will help to lower anxiety and lessen the urge to drink alcohol. While I'm not completely sober I'm drinking a hell of a lot less. The nitric oxide vasodilates your blood vessels which allows you to train harder, and being able to exercise harder you're getting greater physiological adaptations (as long as you recover) so I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to drink less.

He Moderately drank and would take sleeping pills cuz he barely slept ever. He was not the type to down a huge quantity of wine in 15 seconds on top of sleeping pills. Yes he was murdered. @crushsatan exactly has Ted seen last shows like Isle of Wight or Maui? Jimi was on the top of his game. Ted just has prejudice against "drug users". Ted met jimi while partying and turned down drugs. Good for you guy. Lol. Never achieved in a lifetime what jimi did in a few years. Maybe drugs didn't have anything to do with it.

      @@claytonpaul4259 LSD had a big part in how Hendrix played and it was for the better. If someone disagrees, then you've never taken a psychedelic drug. Any other drug in my opinion changes your playing too, but in the worst of ways.

    • @claytonpaul4259
      @claytonpaul4259 Год назад +3

      @kennethnick3213 no it didn't. Jim's drug use has been blown up and made into some kind of legend not based in reality. Jimi used LSD but a lot of the songs he had been working on for are you experienced as an example pre dated the band and his lsd use. so Jimis creativity was all his own, the effect of LSD while listening to the music was appreciated by the audience. It doesn't mean Jimi was on drugs all the time to the point of being a drooling idiot. There was no acid in his headband, he wasn't totally stoned all the time. If you actually look into it those who were close to Jimi said yes he could take a lot of whatever but he was generally weary of drugs and those peddling them. He wasn't just always stoned and if you listen to his music he wrote before his death there's lots of messages about the culture needing to cool it with the drugs and focus on music and art. I just really disagree that LSD was a big part of his playing as you say, because the man recorded hundreds of tracks in 4 years, the vast majority of which are incredible and show his prowess on guitar. He practiced all day everyday. Always playing. That's why he was great. Not because of LSD lmao
