Carnaval is carnaval but that doesn’t mean we can’t be civil about it 💯
But anyways, I am quite happy that this year’s carnaval was relatively peaceful, as peaceful as a carnaval can be. I mean if you compare it to last year’s then there is no comparison, that was CRAZY but this year there was something that I feel carnaval has always needed and that’s control/order. Maybe I’m the stick in the mud but I like it when we can have fun without having to encroach on others’ fun.
On a personal level, I did have my carnaval day but it wasn’t great. Long story short, I went to a pool, it had more people than that pool area should have had and in the end I didn’t go into the pool. Yay…
I did see people in that pool area throwing foam and stuff but it’s to be expected at a private pool area.
Great to see Lashon looking and doing well. The power duo is back! 🦾
