I love the white wood against that wallpaper! And I don’t even like wallpaper as a rule. I think the dark wallpaper and the dark wood would overwhelm such a small room. That idea would work better in a large room I think. ❤️🐝🤗

You could pull the mustard yellow from the wallpaper as a paint color accent. Looking good ! I know how much hard work that is. We’ve done a lot of Reno ourselves.

I would do the wallpaper with a black accent wall. Some clear lighting fixtures around the bulbs and the shower a white tile of some sort. Maybe horizontal subway tile. Maybe the floor a white tile also or light grey concrete look. Add a bit of burnt sienna in somewhere. 😊 tall clear shower door. Large flat off white floor tile. Bronze accents on the door knob and fixtures. Green pothos would be nice. Shower eucalyptus and plants

Dark wallpaper and dark Wayne Scotting will make the room seam so much smaller. I'd pick the lightest color on the wallpaper and go with the on your bottom half

Love the bathroom update! For the wall colour, maybe you could pull it from the leaves on the wallpaper, the light blue/green colour.
The grey colour in wall paper would be nice on bottom 1/2 of walls. Blue would be too much. You need contrast. But get job though. Can’t wait to see what you do ❤
I could smell the dry wall dust when you were sanding 😂 though it’s a tedious job the smell always makes me feel like I’m nearing the end.

Smaller spaces being painted dark “tend” to make the space feel smaller- I love the wallpaper!

Juby, we needed to patch 2 ceilings where they had water damage and a drywaller friend of ours told us about :wet sanding" dry wall, Instead of sanding with dry sandpaper, you use a special sanding sponge and use it wet, It cuts down 90% of the dust and mess..... looks great, too! Small, tight spaces tend to look smaller and darker with dark colors..we have a HUGE master bath, but it was installed in the early 90's and had dark green swirled white tiles 16 by 16 on floor and walls over jacuzzi, then 12 by 12 dark green tiled around front and side edge of jacuzzi, then white 12 by 12 on ledge around jacuzzi and the top edge of jacuzzi housing they pur white wainscoting on bottom half of bath then color matched the upper walls the dark green of the floors and it looked like a moldy hole, no wondow so no natural light. We want to reno but need to save up, but we did got with a softer green for the upper walls and it mad e a HIGE difference!
