Hahaha, sorry for the blue balls! That wasn't intentional! 🙈
Anyway, I'm glad you liked it. 🙂 It was a nice experience doing that song with our old friends/family of Faun (and for me especially to do vocals in Welsh language... was quite a challenge 🙈🤣).
But for me, honestly, the best about the song/the video recording was meeting the person who played Gwydion: Wolf-Dieter Storl!
He's a "rockstar" to me! There are no more druids today. But if there's a living person coming closest to a Celtic druid then it would be him. I followed him before and was currently reading one of his (many) books... but it was only on the set when I learned that he's there and actually playing in the video too, haha! 🤣 Was so cool. There were several shamans on site that day (and we were shooting literally in the middle of fucking nowhere) - it was a wonderful atmosphere and a really nice day! 🙂

It's so cool, that you liked it! I love that song, too. The old man you see in the video is Wolf Dieter Storl. Some people in Germany know him, because he knows incredibly much about our wild plants and how to use them to heal or to cook. And he knows a lot about old tales and sayings for example from the Celts. Some call him kind of a shaman. 😄 That's why Faun asked him to play the magician Gwydion in this video, who is part of the ancient tales. As I understand it, it's Gwydion who lets the trees come alife as some kind of warriors who help him fight the demons of winter so spring, light and life in general can come back and nature revives. 😊

I would love to see Faun and Eluveitie do a collab album together.
I love them both. Faun is a folk/medieval/germanic band that is fenomenal: Unda, Wind und Geige, Egil Saga, Walpurgisnacht, Tinta, Odin, Galdra and many others; just love them, they are great. Not heavy stuff but for a folk/traditional junkie like me they are a must. And this collab is fire! My comment on the video was something like your reaction: "I want more, this is not enough, I need more damn it"

Awesome - I don't know how I missed this one 11 months ago but I love both bands. Faun are a German pagan folk band - well worth checking out. Cheers guys.

Yo! I love this song so much, as u say guys the entire track is a damn 10, but I love the part when Glassman is speaking in celtic quietly (sorry is if not celtic lenguaje) and the raven is crying in the background, my favorite part honestly.💓

Since i knew Faun for "Federkleid" and "Tanzt mit mir" i feel a bit diassapointed that they didn't include flutes in this song. Bagpipes do nice job, but even piccolo could have a moment of glory at least at the ending part. Nevertherless it's powerful song i will be gladly coming back to.
