My first c sec scar was 12 years old and it still hurts whenever I do abdomen ab workouts. I am now in my 3 week postpartum after another c sec and this one is even worse than my first… Lord God, please have mercy 😢
Im 5 wk post emergency c section..my tummy is saggy nd hanginh, delaying my scar recovery, how 2 deal wd my incision wound nd tummy nd swollen stretch marks
I'm 4 months postpartum and im just now able to touch my c section scar or anywhere near it. This was impossible for me 6 weeks postpartum. Wayyy too much pain.
How do I do this massage when my scar is hidden under my fupa? Its not as visible as the lady in the video, its literally hidden on my fupa lining if that makes sense.
We hear ya! She is lying down so that might help when you are massaging. Any massaging is helpful so however you can get to it, or maybe ask someone for a hand? xx
My scar is fading almost fading away is about 4 inches but above my scar my small fupa it's hard i dont like it! my daughter's are is 8yrs and 3 yrs old and when I try to massage the area and stretch my skin is very sensitive to the stretch if this makes sense 🤷🏼♀️
I wonder if using your other hand, you can pin the skin above and below to isolate the area and use the other hand to do the work? So using an open palm, press fingers and thumb and brace that area, so the size of your palm is being held down?
Yes absolutely, but we'd recommend waiting until at least 6 weeks post op, or when your scar is fully healed with no scab remaining. Hope you're doing well!
Hi Tara, Performing a C-section Scar Massage can help with scar tissue, which is one of the resasons that contribute to the "over-hang" but the massage impacts women differently as we all have different bodies. We would reccomend always discussing with your health care professional first! 😊
I have completed c - section completed at one month but still I have stomachache and not stiches pain. Pls anything problem madam pls reply🙏 some one said it is common and its cure for 6 weeks
Hi Anitha, So sorry to hear that! We really reccommend you speak to your health care provider regarding this. We can only advise on skincare issues and would always reccommend visiting your doctor/healthcare provider for a medical opinion. 💗
@@BlueBell28 probably a small baby. I’m petite but my babies were huge which caused more postpartum belly fat/ stretched skin for me..pregnancy did not care about my petite frame.
@blaxicanevolving6648 Everyone's body especially us women bodies are so different that why I made sure I put probably. I understand where you are coming from.
My tummy was similar. I had my son 10 weeks early and I was hardly showing at the time. I also had hyperthyroidism afterward which caused me to drop below pre-pregnancy weight shortly after giving birth. Everyone's journey is different!
Same I'm currently 2 weeks post c section and my son was 5 weeks early. I been making sure to wear the belly band to help with abdominal healing and I'm almost back to my original size already
We recommend using Scar Saviour, which was created specifically for scar massage - with natural antioxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients: www.nessaorganics.com/collections/scar-saviour/products/c-section-recovery-stretch-marks?variant=39456156909686
We would always recommend using something specifically designed for use on scars to be safe. Scar Saviour is wonderfully nourishing if you did want to give it a go.
Has anyone tried this? I’m 8wks pp, and just now and having pretty bad pain around my scare when I move or lift things. Would love to hear others experiences and advice
I didn’t have a c section per say but a myomectomy to remove a 9cm fibroid 6 weeks ago. My scar looks exactly like the lady in the video, I can’t lift heavy things but I don’t have pain around the scar (I did two weeks ago though). Try to avoid lifting, but move as much as you can. Move and rest a little bit, then move again and so on. Walking helps a lot. I walked since the first day post op (very small steps and used to sit maximum 2 minutes later, but I did that as much as I could during the day). Did you walk right after or did you wait? Did you tell your doctor about this pain? You should if you haven’t told them. If they say that everything is normal, then you might need to move more. My scar is very itchy and I can’t wear jeans for more than an hour or two cause it starts to itch and hurt a little. My advice is : move and massage your scar

How can I do this as a plus sized woman? My skin moves way too much for this to be effective in my opinion

How to do vertical scar massage?
The same techniques will be great, just work vertically instead of horizontally ☺️

Hi, That's completely normal and we recommend waiting until you are comfortable with light touch. It's ok to take your time and start slow 💗
Your guts won’t come out at all

Why?
Is this helps to reduce the hang belly?

Which oil is best and after how many weeks we can massage ?
We recommend our Scar Saviour. And you can start gentle massage from 6 week, and build up intensity. Xx

same for me. My neighbors told me i should have massaged the area as soon as the wound healed, could have avoided this kind of pain.
