That’s what I call what she did in 1991 when Dionne introduced her “…my baby, Miss Whitney Houston” and she proceeded to 💩💩 on that stage for Dionne! This and other songs were (literally) written for Dionne Warwick, and are not easy songs to sing. The tribute was great. You might take a listen to Dionne’s early hits. Dionne is second only to Aretha Franklin in number of charted hits during rock era. The great Luther Vandross, who both did many covers of her songs and counts her as his musical inspiration, has great renditions of her hits he made his own too.
