Drove 5 hours to get there last week, walked away with a ton of stuff. Potted a swamp cypress today that looked like it wasn't doing much and all the base root work was already done from what looked like years ago. Fat as when I peeled the top soil layers back. If you're Aussie, it is worth making your main shop. Would even do an interstate flight to get there now I have been.
All good! The content was great. Led me onto a lot of your other videos. The set of swamp cypress out the front with the fish is truly impressive. @@thetreestyler
Do yourself a favour go there . I’ve been there many times and come away from there totally pleased with what I’ve bought. As for comparing to Bunnings there is no comparison. Better trees and massive value for money at Bonsai world. The staff have always looked after me . Can’t wait to get there again when I’m down that way .
we're looking for two bonsai for our nature strip who knows we may start a trend on our street 👍👍from sunshine coast, loved the video rachel and christina m
Thank you and thanks for mentioning your location. I was married in Noosa a while back. What are you going to pant in your nature strip? I wouldn't do it where I live as silly people tend to rip plants out of the ground.
@@thetreestyler we're sunshine coast proud, love it here congratulations on your marriage we've just come back from japan and thinking about what we will be planting around our place our street here is mostly retired people and our dad mitchell has always planted bulbs on the nature strip with no issues at all since he bought the house in 2013 🙂🙂
Totally agree with the quality and quantity of choice from the nursery that actually works on bonsai for more than one year like the bunnings special 😆
Thanks for the comment Andy. I do source alot of my starters from here but more refined trees I source from local bonsai networks. As you know I do collect plenty of raw stuff from gardens and demolitions sites.
Do you get out alive if you tell them I watched your video?!?! Asking for a friend🤣🤣🤣 Man you’d need an open cheque book wouldn’t you having so much variety at your disposal or a pre-paid burial plot for when you got home🤷🏼♂️🤬
I've never seen a bonsai at Bunnings. They have a small selection of sticks in pots masquerading as bonsai.
I had a little giggle over this comment. Always room to improve as does Bunnings!
I bought a japanese maple bonsai from bunnings about a year ago. It's going well.
an extraordinary work of art, nice👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Absolutely love the music you used in this mate
Thanks Jonas. I went with a longer track this one. Great song - epic length.
these guys are the best hands down in australia i travell 8hrs just to go there
Hey Clay, they are a few hours from mine but worth the drive for trees and Akadama and pots.

You are so lucky you are able to grow mango trees I wish they grow and produce in California. That place is the Disney land for bonsai growing
Thanks Timmy. Our climate is very good for trees and Bonsai.

Agree with all your comment. Never regret a purchase I have made there. I travel some distance each time to go there so I make it worthwhile.

I would love to plant some black pines and grow them as semi trained Bonsai!! But I would be tempted to dig them up again!
Good tour! Inspires me to add more specie variety to our plants. Simple chopped down bush will do.
Thanks. It's a great nursery!

Seeing this makes my bank balance look smaller by the minute i would spend there
Its a vortex hahaha for me!
@@thetreestyler what's their deciduous trees selection like mate
Plenty to choose from. Lots of maples and elm varieties
not only superior but a lot healthy and cheaper than bunniings
Have to agree there Mary, these are worlds apart from Bunnings - forgive the pun!
