- Bush walks, play, training, dam swims. Sunshine and big storms. And Miss Violet cuddles. Such a sweet little girl. I know we all know her story, but boy does she show us every day how strong, brave, how much of a valued pack member she is, how funny, innocent and sweet she is. We sure love her so. And she sure loves her life. She loves every member of her family, two and four legged. And anything her big brothers and sisters can do, so must she. From unable to walk a step or two without falling over … to taking on a Rottie male in the dam for a frisbee … 🙌 … Miss Violet 💜

I love Miss Violet more than words can express. We have a saying in our house, for when we’re stressed or sweating the small stuff - “What Would Miss Violet Do?” She would just be in the moment and run and play and be happy… she sure has the best approach to life. We could all take a page out of her book. Go Miss Violet!! ❤❤❤

MV is a personal favorite, and I loved especially the snuggles with Luke at the end of the day. She seemed really proud on his lap, having pride of place. I particularly realized this time how well she has learned to use her nose and interpret what it is telling her. When she is running full tilt through the woods and fields, zipping around the pool and the dam, surrounded by dogs, with her limited vision and incredible nose she is able to zip through the pack and around the farm without crashing into any of the dogs, or fall into the dam or pond. She is find the toy to try to get away from Freddo, not hit trees etc. She might still get lost but mostly she navigates so much better than I ever thought she could. When I look back at her early video clips, where she couldn’t walk a straight line, got lost etc - it is nothing short of a miracle to see her now, which was made available to her by the love and support of Luke and Sam and the kids. Maggie is also the same way when Luke and Sam speak to her - her engagement level increases, and you really feel that she comes alive as she responses to the words she sees. Her silent world just opens up for her. MV, MR and the others all had rocky starts to life, but ended up exactly where they needed to be, being their best selves and living a good life with people who love and support them.

Yesterday I was watching an old video of when Shadow and her tiny puppies got to the farm. I had forgotten how different they were! Shadow was so tense and had never been socialised, and you could easily spot Miss Violet because she was wobbling around so badly, even as a tiny pup in the puppy bed. And I was thinking how amazing their transformations are. Shadow is now so happy and relaxed, always with a smile and just wanting to chase some birds, and loves her two and four legged family. And Miss Violet is so athletically strong! It's amazing! And of course Miss Red, who had health struggles, and now looks so healthy, enjoying every farm moment. What a credit to all of your hard work, persistence, love and care 🙂

My favorite part of the day, a new Farm video!!!! It always warms my heart to see Shadow so healthy, happy and living her best life chasing birds. And what can I say about Miss Violet? From starting out with so much against her, what a precious, brave little girl she turned out to be. Love her to pieces. It's so interesting to watch Wolfie learning about the world. His face, so full of wonder. Elle and Evie are terriffic young ladies. Lily with her stick and Abra with her pacifer, and congrats Barney on your promotion (at least in Cruiser's eyes!). Feel better soon Rosie!
Who would of thought that 2yrs ago that a big black “aggro” Rottweiler would be the pin up boy for The Farm. Roll onto today and who would of thought a mostly blind & deaf little Staffy with struggling to put two steps together pup would battle for the frisbee with a big black “aggro” Rottweiler, and both come out winners. Beautiful & majestic Freddo along with the “little golden nugget” that is Miss Violet, you are both shining examples of life, trust, honour, beauty and acceptance. I think they could do a duo and be the pinups of The Farm. 🐾🐶💜 (Big big KUDOS Luke & Sam)

Great mixture of fun to see on the farm. I must admit I had to stop watching after I heard Rosie yelp, I couldn't keep watching as all I could hear was her yelp. Back after a bit of a break and smiling until the end when I seen Miss Violet on dad's lap and had tears watching and remembering her little life story so far. She's a little piece of dynamite eh hassling with big brother Freddo. Go girl. I was impressed with the front gate training - good doggos.

Miss Violet is a force to be reckoned with. I love to watch her run & wiggle that butt of hers. When she runs, she looks more like she is hopping. Her legs are so short & you can't hardly see them move when she runs. And when she was in the water & she is wiggling her butt, oh gosh it is precious. I do keep wanting to ask about Tank. It seems like right after the encounter with Cruiser, he started running with a toy in his mouth. Did he do this before & I just didn't notice? Also wondered where exactly you put Rosco & Tank when you have Cruiser out? Rosco can jump most fences. The only place I could think of was the big pool. Sam, is one of the triplets more dominant than the other two? They all seem laid back to me but I was just curious.
Luke mentioned recently that Banjo is now bigger than his siblings, Matilda is the athletic one of the three and Rosie is still the baby.

That would definitely be Banjo, but he’s really in training, learning how to be a leader. Not to just simply be dominant. He knows he’s bigger and stronger than almost all the other dogs and so he’s pushing those boundaries, but he’s only just learning what Freddo has … true leadership. Rosco too, but Freddo is the perfect leader. Verbal, behaviour, presence, lead by example. He does use dominance occasionally, for when the dogs don’t respect him and his initial communications but it’s never biting. Banjo is going to be an awesome leader because he has Freddo as a model. ❤️❤️ … and Luke for when he really oversteps his boundaries 😅

Miss Violet is one of my inspirations! Seeing her is always a good reminder to live the life you have, never give up, and to be positive even when things are harder for you. Must admit back when Violet first arrived at The Farm I didn't have a lot of hope for her. She had serious neuro problems and was undersized. With that being said, because of your dedication to her well being and positive development she has become a boss dog! Most who don't know her story would never suspect her early struggles. Kudos to all who had a part in her successes. Same can be said of many of Luke's "misfits". You guys are the best!
Hope has the cutest Boxer facial expressions. Such a long way she has come from terrified to walk to fear of even taking food from Luke's hand. Unbelievable journey she has come thru.💯💯💯

Listening to Luke teach and explain what he is doing so that his children understand and learn all while in such a loving and warm environment is just amazing. Such encouragement for all of us. I would love to know what the original vets who diagnosed Miss Violet as a young pup think when they see her now. She really is a Little Miss Sunshine. Being born with her challenges and having to (and wanting to) keep up with the pack has seen her able to do so much more than I think anyone would have imagined. Luke encouraged her to be independent & she adapted amazingly well. Apart from her hearing/sight challenges & needing to nap deeply & quite often you'd never know how grim things looked when she was tiny. #inspirationalmissv

This was everything! Miss V is truly a wonder! Thank you!! Every time I see the birds bombing Shadow it reminds me of the time Luke and Jason were trying to rescue the Plover chicks and the frantic parent birds were diving at them. Jason was shielding himself with a tree branch! I love that memory! And, speaking of memories, did anybody see Bandit Boy’s Instagram post for his 9 th birthday? 🎉 made me smile ( and a teeny tear 😢) he looks wonderful!

I use to tell my girls it was Santa and his elves making the toys for Christmas. They were never afraid. They are amazing parents,children and animals are truly blessed to be in this loving family ❤

Never a dry eye whenever my pup and I watch these videos. Watching these wholesome dogs just be able to be themselves in that environment makes my heart warm. This is what I hope for when I cross over.

I was hooked from the video of Shadow and her babies from the very beginning. It has been an amazing journey watching that little family blossom ,despite,physical and mental challenges. They were destined to be at the farm because of Luke, Sam and at the time Jason and Adam helping. They, the pack, kids, kitties,are truly a joy to watch.

Beautiful, sassy Miss Violet, the WONDER STAFFY...she's become such a strong and feisty little girl. Remembering how frail she was, it's remarkable, and I love seeing her lap up all the cuddles on Luke's lap in the evening - I LOVE how Staffies lick their lips all the time, am sure it's a sign of appreciation for the love they receive. Special shout out to Chop Chop & Tank (just for the heck of it), they are 2 special and lovable brothers, and I hope Rosie's OK (I heard her whelp out loud before she started limping) 🥰!

So many precious moments! Lily and her stick, the bird swooping down on Shadow, Miss Violet running round and round trying to get the toy from Freddo, and so much more. Of course, the adorable kids just having a great time. 💞
These dogs have a wonderful, joyful life that likely wouldn't have happened except for these angels on earth, who give of themselves every day. MV would likely have been put down shortly after she was born and instead she is such a beautiful addition to this very lucky and happy pack. Her transformation is truly a miracle.

Just re-watched this video because I can’t get enough of Miss Violet! She and Barney were my favourites. To see Barney running and swimming so happily makes me truly happy. Yes, it’s devastating that he passed away, but he had the opportunity to live the most amazing life for those 2 years. Thank you Luke and Sam❤.
