My mother did some cheezy cosmo personality test. One question asked in short form. "What is most important. "the beginning middle or end of a task" she was dumbfounded when i said the middle. She thought obviously to end it. I left home at 13. Lived a very chaotic life and prided myself on being able to adapt. Its absurd looking back over the last 25 years all the most insane crossroads i encountered that could have lead me down extrememly different paths. Listening to this im blown away at how much the joker has played in my life. But really does it was when i left home at 13. I got a jester tattoed on my arm. Of late I've been thinking of tattooing a magician pulling through my skin as if he is emerging from behind a curtian.
I believe it's also about giving unexpected or desired reactions. This can be a good means of dealing with people who use negative social tactics. For instance, if someone is trying to get under your skin, you choose not to react, but respond in a manner that isn't desired, such as laughing.
I take psilocybin mushroom from time to time. And every time it’s a pleasant and fun experience but the other night was different. I typically like to lay there and get introverted. And I kept seeing the Jester, it was destructive, being disruptive and sort of being a annoying. It was making me think about work and I would get moments of anxiety. But in the end and had time to think, I kept going back to “ I’m not in control” when it comes to my job/career. He definitely did shake things up.
LOL! This is the archetype I got and I’m also a circus performer…that’s funny I also got the hero as the really close second…which makes sense because o exhibit martial arts movements and physical discipline in my circus performances
i recently found a joker card on the floor of my parents house. My family aren't card players... so i wondered where it came from and what it could mean, symbolically. Currently over thinking my creative expression - then this video pops up! The symbolism of the trickster is very fitting for my current state of personal growth. Let go, be present, welcome a little chaos, open up, don't take yourself too seriously. Inspiring words to end 2020, thanks
I think probably around 25-30 would be the best time... To early might have a negative effect... It might be part of why everyone has a mental issue now... Idk for sure though but it sounds right from what I've noticed.
I’m pretty certain I’ve allowed myself to be completely imprisoned in the moment and have become somewhat fully and solely formed by this archetype. Of course there is some small semblance of control, but although I can talk about it, I can’t actually execute any type of behavior with concern for anything outside of what is in front of me. It’s funny…long time ago I felt stuck in the past and wanted nothing more than to be “in the moment”, and tbh it is much much more enjoyable! However, it comes down to how much self destruction and rejection of the status quo you are actually willing to LIVE and not just finding “rebelliousness” appealing. While my mind and most activities including work are enjoyable and I really don’t have much concern to live differently, there’s a unique sort of difficultly being stuck in what feels like it should be a liminal situation for what seems to be a permanent condition. It feels a bit like having an automatic case of teenage non-conformity and anti-authority to the point im a bit afraid of how I might react in an impulsive situation since most of my convictions really don’t gel to well with social niceties or respect for laws that appear hypocritical etc. it’s like my will and is almost over-developed, far beyond my analytical thought process which often would come before or after something in most people. Even after the fact, I can merely analyze my own behaviors but even that feels so “in the moment” and I get pleasure from the analysis itself! I was far more depressed before i developed this way but I believe I pushed for it so much that I jumped over a fence when I would have been far better off sitting on top of it. My therapist brought the concept of the joker or jester up to me a few days ago. Didn’t realize how applicable it was to my upbringing and personality. Of course, always been drawn to this archetype, but never once thought it pertained to me.
I think I’m just naturally a trickster which supports kings theory of personality development not being in our control. Had to learn how to lie a lot growing up and to improvise.
Just found this channel, good interpretation! This fits fairly well with Jungian Thought and the Tarot Archetype 0 of 'The Fool'. Interesting that Pride is considered the most dangorous sin, in which all evil grows its roots. This Fool archetype is the polar end of pride, which is humility, i feel the key to understanding this archetype is also by the symbol of the tamed lion aka tamed pride. In jungian thought, this would relate to preventing any form of ego inflation, and to foster the shadow for the higher self to act in our lives, for how can the shadow (dragon) be fought, if we are to prideful to begin our journey into our abyss. Furthermore the idea is channeled by not being so caught up with yourself and imitating a christ like attitude, which is symbolic of the Wise Fool. " If I thus truly imitate Christ, I do not imitate anyone, I emulate no one, but go my own way, and I will also no longer call myself a Christian." ~Carl Jung, Liber Novus, Page 293. & "If you avoid error you do not live; in a sense even it may be said that every life is a mistake, for no one has found the truth. When we live like this we know christ as a brother, and god indeed becomes man."

My friend the raven likes peanut butter. I leave some out for him before bedtime so he doesn't wake me up so early. As of late though, because his tongue and beak are kind of stuck together from the peanut butter, well... he has started tapping on my steel roof in morse code. Come first light now he is asking for chocolate too and I don't know what to do.
Boy does he change the structure and the attachment to it. Like a demon! A very fine demon. Amen. At the 8:34 mark in wrapping up you kind of tilted your head with an expression that almost dared the listener not to think that video was right on. In poker that kind of mannerism means, "Yeah. She's got the hand. No bluff. Real deal."
