I just got mine last night hooked it up and talked over 1500 miles I am very happy with mine which I have a little wil antenna and a Cobra 29 LTD Classic and I am very happy with it all
@@gabrielM1111 yes I changed every thing now I have a Connex 3300 and a 225 palomar that will do 300 watt and I just got a new amp tonight a 250 killer bee made by Galaxy may sell the 225 don't know but paid high cash for the Connex a guy had it put up in its box he got it new and used it for 3 months and stop driving a truck and put it back in plastic that it came in and put it back into original box it's the side mic one very nice tuned down 350$ tonight it's a hard to find one an expecially one that was new in the box

Mater of fact I have a similar one, the BJ 300 Chinese. And I think the Hi/lo switch is backward as well

@@gabrielM1111 the only thing about the hys is will drive up your swrs in a bad way and no matter what you do can't adjust it out
