The 4inch line didn't print in 4". At the same time I printed the blue memory bear pattern & the panda bear pattern. The memory Bear & the panda bear both printed correctly. I'm in the states and printed on Letter sized cardstock paper. This is the pattern I REALLY wanted. Please advise.
I know you probably won’t see this because this is one of your older videos, but Thank you from the USA for providing a pattern without cost!! Many ppl in our area have expressed with the economy the way it is, they simply couldn’t afford to buy the patterns. This is going to get so many ppl in my office sewing again!! I am starting a bear challenge! I am gifting a gift card to Joann Fabric (craft store here) of $100 to the winner of our office. We are going to use this pattern for the challenge!! Ty Ty ty❤❤❤❤❤ All bears made will be donated to the local children’s hospital. I can’t wait to see their lil faces!! ❤
@@payitforward9442 Omg the ladies in the office printed your response and we sounded like 13 yrs old squealing like giddy teenagers!! lol 😂 Ty for all you do. We have found several things from your channel to recreate in coming months. I’ll try to send pics! Much love from Athens,Ohio
This pattern is amazing along with the awesome step by step video. I am a 54 year old male who has decided as a 25th anniversary gift for my wife, which is next August i am going to make teo matching bears using your pattern. So far I am making a test bear. I will show you my progress when complete.
Thank you so much! This has helped me so much in my bear making. When I 1st started making bears with a simple pattern that my lovely sister gave me years ago, I was in the dark and on my own. I recycle old blue jeans and make bears and bunnies. Alot of what I figured out by myself you have just shown me that I have been doing things in the proper manner all along. I have also used similar fabrics that are backed like Sherpa. Again, this has been great.
I am sitting here with my jaw on the floor. For YEARS I have wanted to make a ‘proper bear’, but even as a cloth doll maker, they have always seemed so daunting. Words cannot express my gratitude for this video. And your channel!!! What a treasure trove to explore as I start my journey back into cloth dolls/cloth makes again. I cannot wait until Monday to spread the word to my work colleagues who would love to start their own fabric making journey. Unbelievably chuffed that you are also Australian, so understand the challenges if trying to source supplies locally. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I am off to dig out some felt and start on some of your smaller makes first. I actually feel giddy. 🤘
Wow! I love your enthusiasm Annie, Welcome! It’s so nice to have another Aussie on board, the things I design serve no real purpose except to hopefully bring Joy! I’m looking forward to seeing your versions of my projects. Happy sewing my friend 🥰
Dear Lisa, I’m a bit like Misty Dutton, well sort of, of course the story starts with, “ You just popped up”, your gorgeous bear caught my eye, so I opened your video, then I saw this very attractive, very stylish gorgeous woman, before we go any further, I am 75, female, very straight, living the life, happy to be alive, then I nearly dropped by iPad, your patterns are free. I don’t know much in this life, but I am pretty sure you will be rewarded for your amazing generosity. Now, there is good chance I may never make your beautiful bear, but just to know that I could afford to do so is great, you never know I could make them for Children’s Hospitals around Brisbane, now that excites me. Paying it forward. You are a lovely human being and I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a great New Year, I am glad you popped up.❤❤❤❤❤❤ Bye.
This is absolutely adorable! That cute little face... so soft, I love him. I d love to try this sherpa fabric, looks quite beautiful to work with and to hug! Thanks Lisa 👍💖

Thank you so much for the free pattern. Not everyone is generous with giving away. So thank you for this so much. This is the nicest bear pattern ever. I am going to give this one a try. I'm from south africa. Thank you xx
So informative, love all the "additional" information regarding the eyes, nose, etc. and free pattern. My mother went to heaven in November (praise God) and I inherited her robes. My sisters are expecting quilts; but my brother-in- law also makes quilts, so when I saw your video and so detailed decided I would try to make this cutie. absolutely adorable! So sweet I want to make one for myself along with snuggle sheep to cuddle...lol They can join my white Sherpa poodle I made yrs. back on the shelf in my sewing room. Its a little hard to find Sherpa in the USA at least in my neck of the woods. Mostly just white, ivory, and sometimes beige. When I lived in the UK I could always find what I needed. Hello...i put a comment on IG too. I'd love to make this bear for my triplet survivor. Is there a way to modify this bear with no joints. The white one is beautiful too...but I'd prefer a sit/stand bear like this one but i don't have time to make the joints & to buy them...they cost more than i spent on the fabric or come in 100's of pieces. Is there a way i could do a belly pannel so that i can embroider the baby's names & info on each of the bears? In like a blizzard or no-pill fleece? Thank you so much for your beautiful work. And your hair is AMAZING! I'd totally watch One request...for the legs that are supposed to be made on a fold....it'd be great if the pattern reflected that, like on some of your other patters. I know this is a silly question but how do you clean the gel medium off your brush Lisa? I always wash mine with hot soapy water but the brush still hardens once dry xx
Do you think this pattern would work with woven cottons instead of the fleece? I love the look of the bear, but am trying to make a memory bear with cotton shirts.
Hey, Lisa! I may have over looked it in the video, but what size joint goes with the legs vs. the arms and head? I'm assuming the larger size is for the legs and head, but I want to be completely sure. Love the bear!
Beautiful bear! Can't wait to get started. But wondering if it's beginner friendly? Also wondering what size the finished bear is. Thanks in advance for the answers and for the great video! 🧸🤎

Hi Estella, Your comment is exactly why I do this! I’m just trying to fast track everyone to success and an easier sewing experience! Thank you my friend!🥰

Thank you so much free pattern🤝🏻💐
You are so very welcome!🥰
Happy New Year Lisa. Love this snuggle bear. =^^=
Happy New Year to you Debbie, I’m glad you like him!🥰
I know this is a silly question but how do you clean the gel medium off your brush Lisa? I always wash mine with hot soapy water but the brush still hardens once dry xx
Try using cold water, hot would likely cause it to harden.
No question is silly 🙂yes definitely use cold water, soap if you wish🥰
Hahaha I feel like such a numpty that the water temp was the issue!! Ty, cold water and fairy did the job x
Do you think this pattern would work with woven cottons instead of the fleece? I love the look of the bear, but am trying to make a memory bear with cotton shirts.
Hi My Memory bear is designed for Cotton fabrics, this one looks best with pile🥰
Hey, Lisa! I may have over looked it in the video, but what size joint goes with the legs vs. the arms and head? I'm assuming the larger size is for the legs and head, but I want to be completely sure. Love the bear!
Thank you for the video. Do you need to use the glue to stabilise when using polar fleece please?
Hi, no glue needed with a good quality Polar fleece🥰
@@payitforward9442 thank you 😊 much appreciated 🙏. I'm looking forward to making my very first bear.
Gorgeous as always! Happy New Year Lisa! x
And to you my friend, thank you!🥰
Beautiful bear! Can't wait to get started. But wondering if it's beginner friendly? Also wondering what size the finished bear is. Thanks in advance for the answers and for the great video! 🧸🤎
Mau miss❤❤❤❤❤
I am so glad you did this. I’m a dude, and if I’m going to sew it will be for me or my grand kids…this one’s mine!
I’m m going to try to figure out how to combine soft and cuddly with a memory bear type of belly. Well, maybe. I’m not a pattern maker for sure
I’m glad you like him Kevin! And you could use my Memory Bear body pieces for him , just reduce them on your printer 10%first. 🥰
