Thank you for helping to keep the beautiful and immensely graceful hanfu 汉服 alive! To me, 汉服 well embodies the spirit and essence of the Chinese people and it would be a great loss if it should be lost to posterity. As Chinese, we should be proud of our traditional couture.
Every country should value and maintain traditional culture and dress. When we know where we come from we can know where we are going. China has a great culture, good job young lady.
We should be wearing traditional dress more often. Hanfu looks so beautiful compared to what people wear nowadays. Even the male clothing looks awesome. We should be proud of our cultures and bring back our traditional clothing. I personally wear my kilt everyday. I'm glad that people elsewhere in the world are displaying their culture strongly - especially with clothing as beautiful as hanfu.
You got my respect 🙏🏻 Hanfu is the real Han culture, mostly people only know cheongsam as a chinese traditional clothes, but in fact it's a mancu tradition
What i found that all the traditional and ancient dresses of every part of world are much better looking than the garments we wear today. All of them are so elegant and beautiful. People should wear thir contrie's tradotional dresses more often .
Your house is so lovely! I feel peaceful when I see it. Your hanfu is also gorgeous! Thank you to those who dedicatedly wear the ancient styles and keep alive the ancient arts in the face of soulless globalization and modernity.
When I wear clothes like side closing cheongsam, with wide pants Chinese people say to me "You look like a Samurai today!" So, yes, I am very saddened about that.
i love Hanfu since it's original Han Chinese clothing. it's very late for me realized but at least i realize that Hanfu is Han Culture. most Chinese these days knows that cheongsam is original culture but i think that's from Manchu people culture. i wish many people promote this :) i really love Hanfu ^_^
i salute you and i also love to see this culture back in China, Taiwan, or Hongkong so that is why i am trying to encourage any part of Chinese festivity must introduce "hanfu" back to the parade which will then be part of tradition. i am also hurt to see this disappearing because nobody is taking notice.
i wear a kilt most days, so i was interested in other cultures bringing their traditional garb into the 2020s. when i think of hanfu, i think of people in elaborate layers of silk and makeup - impractical in daily life. it is nice to see people wearing them simply and comfortably. if traditional clothes were not practical, nost would not have become traditional. i'm sure many people think about kilted people in full prince charlie regalia, maybe carrying a bagpipe. i am very casual in its wear.
Hanfu is so Flowing & Beautiful! I enjoy watching Chinese & Korean Historical TV Dramas. Much of western fashion is not respectable. Whereas, Traditional Clothing always tells a story of a People & is often more comfortable. 🌱🌿🌷
Bless you girl. I used to wear my traditional dress with great pride. But only at special occasions because its not wearable in ordinary life. You should be verk proud for your beautiful traditional clothes. We all should.
Hello SuXi, you should check out the NTD hanfu competitions :) I really like that you are wearing hanfu every day. I am German and love hanfu too. I only feel like I can not wear it often, which is sad. But I am a teacher and I explained the deeper meaning of this clothing to my students.
syd, au😍😍 I really love this video.... I feel like as time has gone by, "young" chinese people have really lost touch of other aspects of their culture and traditions, especially abcs. Could I pls know what ur company is called?
Some of their “hanfu” are actually cosplays, such as what the dude is wearing in the beginning is a 圆领袍/Circular collar robe that has got ridiculous excessive and untraditional embroideries, his sleeves are also too short and overall his entire Robe is too tight. Hanfu’s aesthetic is baggy, oversized, not like western tight suits. For accurate Hanfu, and to understand what I mean by baggy and oversized clothing is Hanfu’s aesthetic, you can check it out here: pin.it/amqnj5pwhkwpth
nice and short documentary! can someone please tell me where I can find the song at the end? I searched in RUclips and Google couldn't find anything. it is very pretty!
I'm Chinese and I think it's silly and impractical to wear historical clothing on a daily basis. For festivals and celebrations it might be ok but there are too many things you can't do while wearing these clothes, eg. play sport, go to the gym, etc. Besides, you just attract unnecessary attention to yourself when dressed like a historical character. I think it's better to look normal and wear modern clothes.
This style of hanfu was for the upper class people, the wealthy and nobility. Obviously, daily hanfu and hanfu of workers/servants were an entirely different style that was suitable for doing work and tasks that needed mobility, and made with durable fabrics that wouldn’t easily get damaged or ripped. As for your crusty tone, telling this lady she should not wear hanfu because it attracts unnecessary attention - well, all I can say is, did it hurt you when she wears hanfu and has attention on her because of it? No? Then leave her in peace. Do your tradition hating thing and leave her to do her tradition loving thing.
@@aishakhatib685 I'm entitled to my opinion. The majority of Chinese people apparently agree with me, considering they don't wear hanfu on a daily basis.

Keep it up, hope more and more Chinese youngsters revive traditional culture

Cheongsam is not Hanfu btw. It is one of the traditional costumes in China, but from a different ethnic, the Manchurians, not Han.

I read your comment three years after you posted it. I hope you have continued pushing for that?
