THIS COMMANDER IS AWESOME! Get value from sacrificing your sagas and other enchantments to drain out your opponents while accruing massive value! Do you guys like this commander as much as I do? Lemme know down below :)
Her burst damage to the table is what's drawing me in. I like commanders that do that. Yuriko, Jarad, Nekuzar, etc.
Hopefully she doesn't get that crazy of a reputation, they might take me out first! lol
I think Resourceful Defense is going to be sweet in this deck, enough sagas on board an you might drain out opponents late game as they chain off each other.

@@levisdeckboxi actually may start a new deck with her as well now lol question though, does she work with praetor sagas? Do their sagas proc the heal/damage?
@@iNtoxic_oNeyes, the final chapter resolving will still count towards the life loss/gain. But they will not be sacrificed, so it doesn't trigger her first part.
Few things come to mind to include here like The Cruelty of Gix (added tutor effect and reanimation body), Defense of the Heart (sacrifice + tutor effect), Heliod's Hall of Generosity (recursion), Femeref Enchantress (card draw upon enchantment sacrifice), Shigeki Jukai Visionary (cheap targeted tutor from graveyard that you can loop with Heliod's). These are some upgrades that immediately come to mind. Calix guided by fate is a strong auto-include since he can copy sagas, and all that matters is they resolve so the exiling won't matter.
All of these are great additions! Since I’m personally building this deck, I account for budget and power level i.e. I don’t play many if any tutors and most cards I run are sub $3. Calix is probably pretty good but I personally don’t like using copy tokens, it just gets a little too complicated when I don’t need it to be, but who knows maybe I’ll try him out!
I kind of feel like this is the perfect commander for Faith Healer out of Urza's Saga, cool deck all around and I'm probably changing my Selesnya Saga deck to this one.

Not sure if it was a mistake or a misunderstanding of the effect, but the sagas that flip into creatures will still trigger narci’s 2nd ability because it cares about the final ability resolving, just not the first since they do not get sacrificed. Nonetheless, Great video love the decktech
Correct, I was referring to the first ability in reference to them being sacrificed. Thanks for clearing that up :)
I’ve built Tom Bombadil and he is fun, but slow. Narci seems like the way to go if you are building Sagas for your higher power tables (Not Cedh). Two cards I would consider putting in would Starfield of Nyx, for enchantment/saga recursion during upkeep, and hallowed haunting. I like Narci she seems like she has potential to be really good.
Yeah that’s how I assumed he would play, I definitely prefer less colors so that makes sense.
God-Eternal Bontu is another cool include, you get to double-draw off of every enchantment you sacrifice on his etb trigger.

First Strike Deathtouch blocker is good, but also the ability to remove counters from sagas to retrigger effects could be useful, especially if you pair it with proliferate effects!

The flip saga's from kamakawa do resolve so they trigger the life drain they just don't trigger the card draw

[Power Conduit] will let you "save" a saga from being sacrificed while still granting you the chapter 3 effect (use it while the effect trigger is still on the stack).
In case your commander is out and you need to keep the saga in for one or two more turns. OR that chapter 3 is just so juicy you prefer it over her second ability. :D

[Starfield of Nyx] - on upkeep get a Saga back for free AND activate it TWICE.
(upkeep reanimate -> saga ETB's 1 lore counter, end of draw step -> saga triggers the regular auto-increasing counter)
If you proliferate it on the stack you can keep full circling a saga each round. :D
Another amazing deck tech! I really liked her design over the face commander, however, I think Im gonna build Leori first.

@@drewnguyen68 hmm off the top of my head, most Jace’s deal with drawing cards so maybe go with a draw theme? Draw your second spell each turn cards, maybe something like psychosis crawler to weapon use the card draw, teferis ageless insight for extra cards. I’m sure there’s a whole deck around that but you could just splash that and do multiple different directions!
My Abzan deck is Vishgraz but I’ve been heavily considering changing to Narci, especially with Eldraine having so many cards that benefit from enchantments going to the graveyard.
Those seem like pretty different decks, why not both!
@@levisdeckbox Because MOONNEYYYY lol, mostly i don't want to have to have another land base that's practically the same lol.
I've also been considering Anikthea as well, but she'd also be an entirely different deck i feel like. I suppose she could justify a slot in a Narci deck to take advantage of the Saga's further once they "die", but you could also just run regular enchantment recursion as well, but if Narci was the commander you would have almost all Saga's vs. other types of enchantments so i don't know.
I personally was just trying to have 1 of any color combo for a deck so that's my thoughts for "changing" to another one, but there's too many damn choices now lol.
This is the first video I've seen on your channel. After 10 months, what do you think of this commander?
Unfortunately I never put it together, it was a little too samey to some of my other builds. Still seems fun though!

This deck look like the best house for a Sun titan/Gift of immortality/Greater good loop for value and put some cards in the bin. What do you think about that ?
I do have Sun Titan in my list, the other 2 didn’t fit for me since I tried to add as many sagas/sacrifice enchantments as I could. Might be good if you’re going a different route though!
