I don't understand why fan films get so much hate by some? They love the story as much as the complainer does. They just put more effort into showing how much they love it. We know it's not canon nerds.
That sith girl vs the black Jedi- iaido scene was off the hook !!! two super fast strikes & game over !!! the speed of Motion, coming to compete stop, was an excellent display of skill . Much respect for the person who choreographed the scene, it was EPIC !!!

seems like the sith code was a bit off the last lines are "through victory my chains are broken, the force shall set me free" not "the force breaks my chains and im free"
depends what version of the Sith Code you are talking about. KOTOR version is slightly different than the more modern telling (our time not Star Wars time line) and remember the Jedi let the force flow through them like sunlight where the Sith brought the Force to heal and made it serve their wishes like a Pit Bull.
So I’m still at the very beginning... and I’m still gonna try to watch the whole thing. But dude, the crawl? It’s an incoherent mess of poor sentence structure and bad grammar.

Some of the scenes were really well put together. The sound track was set to the scenes well also. The problem I had was that from cut scene to cut scene were a bit incoherent in that there was no flow. The scenes went from one thought to another thought with out a transition in to the next scene. At times I wasn't sure where we were in the story or if you had changed to yet another character. Also, some of the story really wasn't evident as to why you had some scenes in your story at all. It just didn't feel like I was watching a short story. What I felt like was that I was skipping through different scenes just to get the general Idea of a full story with out actually watching the full movie.

J0ncit0 i noticed a mistake with the effects tho, the lightsabers cast a shadow and its unrealistic, light doesnt have a shadow, like fire for example if you shine a flashlight on a campfire it will not create a shadow it will instead stay the same and not change whatsoever, i think they were propably carrying big green sticks but eh

As many people pointed out, the effects and characters were amazing!! The storytelling was a bit rough as I didn't really understand the plot and it kept jumping from scene to scene without any relaxing throughout. Jedi is its plural (not Jedis) and the letterspacing in the intro scene could have been a bit better to match the original (yeah sorry I'm a graphic designer so I see these things). But overall very good!

Good to see some unarmed hand to hand combat. Always be prepared in case your light saber gets lost or destroyed. Never could understand why all the Jedi always turn their back to their enemies when dueling with light sabers. Seems as if they are leaving themselves open to attack. But then again they are Force users.
I'm with you, Talltrees84. The Jedi spin just looks bad. They do use the force, but against another force user that advantage should be null. Still, it is what it is. If we accept that they're psychic knights that fly around in spaceships consorting with aliens, then what's a few backspins in combat? I like it best when Star Wars fan films are made by groups who know martial arts and use martial arts in their fight choreography. It adds a certain something...
John Boy dramatic effect. They have to jazz it up. This is often used in "real" sword fights and such as well. Or when shield users take drastic swings that leave the shield out of position

Very well made, I love it! Only thing that botters me is to see that Sith draw his lightsaber as a threat on the bountyhunter on the end. A Sith will only draw his saber when absolutely necessary.

And the word 'Although' should not have a comma after it because its function in the sentence you have used it in is as a complex sentence connective with the dependent clause first, as opposed to the discourse marker function 'Although' can have.
let's not forget that instead of "on" in the last third of the crawl it should be "to". made much more sense to me considering the sentence it was used in.

i agree about the VFX, and while the storytelling had much to be desired in my opinion since they seem to be trying to do a full movie in only fifteen minutes. maybe they should've done this in parts so it would be so confusing at times or time jumping about a lot. a bit more like the clone wars cartoon series and rebels cartoon series but obviously shorter.
Ideas for Hollywood- it's been three years- just checking how rehab went- because you'd have to be incredibly fucking stoned to say that storytelling was excellent.

Superbe pour un fan-film français, pour une fois que l'anglais parlé par les comédiens est crédible, ça fait plaisir. Après j'ai pas bien compris pourquoi le sniper qui a tué le Maître Jedi n'a pas tué la Padawan (qui était une cible facile à choisir ensuite) ? Et comme Pierre Dartega, j'ai trouvé particulièrement singulier qu'à 6:35 le Maître jedi achève froidement un ennemi à terre, à peine conscient apparemment... Sinon j'adore le maquillage de la Sith / Padawan déchue, et le fait de privilégier un fond complètement noir avec les acteurs au premier plan plutôt que de se perdre dans des décors de fond pas super réalistes, ça c'est bien joué. Et le plan avec la bataille dans le ciel et la descente sur la forêt avec le duo qui coupe est bien réalisé. Bravo pour tout ça.

J0ncit0 i noticed a mistake with the effects tho, the lightsabers cast a shadow and its unrealistic, light doesnt have a shadow, like fire for example if you shine a flashlight on a campfire it will not create a shadow it will instead stay the same and not change whatsoever, i think they were propably carrying big green sticks but eh

I was expecting a long fight, but she punked that guy fast.
Don’t blink. That guy was watching himself from the floor, wondering how the frak he got down there so fast, before his fade to black.
As many people pointed out, the effects and characters were amazing!! The storytelling was a bit rough as I didn't really understand the plot and it kept jumping from scene to scene without any relaxing throughout.
Jedi is its plural (not Jedis) and the letterspacing in the intro scene could have been a bit better to match the original (yeah sorry I'm a graphic designer so I see these things).
But overall very good!

Good to see some unarmed hand to hand combat. Always be prepared in case your light saber gets lost or destroyed. Never could understand why all the Jedi always turn their back to their enemies when dueling with light sabers. Seems as if they are leaving themselves open to attack. But then again they are Force users.
I'm with you, Talltrees84. The Jedi spin just looks bad. They do use the force, but against another force user that advantage should be null. Still, it is what it is. If we accept that they're psychic knights that fly around in spaceships consorting with aliens, then what's a few backspins in combat?
I like it best when Star Wars fan films are made by groups who know martial arts and use martial arts in their fight choreography. It adds a certain something...
John Boy dramatic effect. They have to jazz it up. This is often used in "real" sword fights and such as well. Or when shield users take drastic swings that leave the shield out of position

i agree about the VFX, and while the storytelling had much to be desired in my opinion since they seem to be trying to do a full movie in only fifteen minutes. maybe they should've done this in parts so it would be so confusing at times or time jumping about a lot. a bit more like the clone wars cartoon series and rebels cartoon series but obviously shorter.
Ideas for Hollywood- it's been three years- just checking how rehab went- because you'd have to be incredibly fucking stoned to say that storytelling was excellent.

well the rebel alliance used old equipment was weapons , so it is possible. Just not here as i cant really tell what time period this takes places. Too jumpy.
Why not? ARC-170s were being used well into the rebellion era as elite fighters for elite pilots on both sides, stated as such in the EU.

Superbe pour un fan-film français, pour une fois que l'anglais parlé par les comédiens est crédible, ça fait plaisir.
Après j'ai pas bien compris pourquoi le sniper qui a tué le Maître Jedi n'a pas tué la Padawan (qui était une cible facile à choisir ensuite) ? Et comme Pierre Dartega, j'ai trouvé particulièrement singulier qu'à 6:35 le Maître jedi achève froidement un ennemi à terre, à peine conscient apparemment...
Sinon j'adore le maquillage de la Sith / Padawan déchue, et le fait de privilégier un fond complètement noir avec les acteurs au premier plan plutôt que de se perdre dans des décors de fond pas super réalistes, ça c'est bien joué. Et le plan avec la bataille dans le ciel et la descente sur la forêt avec le duo qui coupe est bien réalisé. Bravo pour tout ça.
