This song in particular meant a lot to the fans. Because of Korean mandatory military service, they were gone for 2 years serving and in the midst of it, a member had to leave the group due to unfortunate circumstances. So this song being their first comeback in awhile, they were essentially relaying to the fans "I'm still here, it's not the end".
Yoseob has a solo song released last fall called Brain. The mv is pretty snazzy.
Yang Yo Seop is the singer you liked. He recently released a solo album that is definitely Alfredo's flavor. It's called Chocolate Box.

Just a bit of background, "Not The End" is their first group comeback after 3 years and 7 months hiatus. Highlight, formerly known as Beast, first debuted in 2009. They've been through so much throughout their career, lost 2 members along the way, and there's still the compulsory military service. Basically, they dedicate this song to the people who waited for them for a long time. As you may have noticed, the most repeated part in this song is 'I'm still here, it's not the end.'
They have the change the choreo a lot of times and felt they still could change for the better when they’re done with the MV. They esp gikwang would totally be happy that you appreciate and love the choreo. And guy who you want to check out more is Yang Yoseop their main vocalist. There is this 6 yr running program in Korea called King of Masked Singer where celebrities are wearing a mask and sing infront of audience or juror to compete with each other to be the King of Masked Singer. The masked king will comeback every week to defend his throne with new set of challengers. Yoseob being the second highest rank with 8 wins (the first has 9 wins) and 1st highest rank in all idols who joined the show. This guy can totally sing any genre without breaking a sweat. Highlight called it synth-pop
Thank you for the new reaction video for BEAST/Highlight.
Someone said their movements were like ninjas. LOL
They are good at intense music and dance, but the combination of lyrical music and dance is the best. This song was more meaningful and touching because it was the title of the first album released after the Highlight members finished their military service.
Thank you for your reaction to Highlight(formally known as Beast) They debuted as a 6 person group in 2009, and have been my #1's. I just wish more would find out about them they deserve it more than anything.
As GiKwang had mentioned this is SYNTH POP, he wrote the song.
I think it’s Gikwang (with the blue hair) who did the choreo. He’s a great dancer. His last solo MV Don’t Close Your Eyes (2019) is definitely worth a watch. He also did a short choreo for Gallant’s song Weight in Gold with Eunhyuk (SuJu) and Taemin (SHINee) and in Gallant’s own words “they killed it”.
It's actually Wootae who mainly choreographed Not The End, but Gikwang can be considered as one of the choreographers (I think) because he made some 'tweaks' in the choreo as they were practicing and filming.

Highlight (FKA Beast) music is comforting. If you want to just wind down or relax then listen to them. That’s why I love them. And they make the choreography easy so we can dance to their sound. That’s the best way I can explain their music. ❤️💕💕❤️

You should have check out on Yoseob he's a fantastic vocalist. He recently released his solo album Brain.
He is my bias 👍Yeseob ❤️ you can check out he sang" cracks of my broken heart "when he just debut 👍and he win the title of king on mask singer, it's a show that singers wear mask so that people won't know who they are ❤️🌼
If you enjoy Yoseob voice I recommend checking out the video for “Adorable”with Ravi. His vocals shine on it. Also check out all his KOMS performance or any his solo projects. The man has vocal range/discipline. I always say he has soul by the way he can convey his feelings through his music. To me, he’s a rare breed. That or I’m just SUPER biased. 💕💕💕

They are really awesome and always my no.1 favourite kpop group, I stan them since 2009. Feeling grateful that they are still active after going through up & down in these years.. also happy for seeing Higher Faculty noticed them since they attended Killing Voice! Please also listen to their other songs, no matter from Beast or Highlight, no doubt, you will love it ! :D
