Hello Rebeka. Thank you for sharing your reaction to Let It Be. Always an emotional song to hear him sing because I believe it Always takes him back to reason he wrote it in the first place.
    Paul McCartney is a Legend

You are right about Paul. Jimmy Fallon tells the story about when he went out to a restaurant in New York with him. A woman came up to their table and said to Paul that Hey Jude was her favorite song. Sir Paul put down his fork and sang the whole song to her while tears streamed down her cheeks. The rest of the diners joined in for the Na Na Nas at the end ofbthe song. What a classy guy!

I've never had the pleasure to meet Sir Paul in person but i've heard from several different people within the biz that he's a really nice guy. Many years ago i saw an interview with him on tv in. which he said, at least then, he barely writes autographs cause he thinks it's not so personal. But he added i can chat with you for a little time! My buddy and myself has talked about that many times imagine you're in London and walking down Oxford Street. Then all of a sudden you bump in to Paul McCartney i mean THE Paul McCartney and before you probably had hundreds of questions but right there and then you just mumbling! Needless to say he's my favorite beatle.

I love Paul's band. They've given him and his music so much life at this stage of his career. Next on your list should be Paul's performance of Helter Skelter at Live 8.

In a 60 minutes interview in 1982 or so, an old guy who kept working another 30 years himself asked Paul, "You are so young and have already accomplished so much, what do you have left to prove? How long will you continue to release records and tour?" And then Paul said, "Forever. Until I die." The interviewer laughed but now he himself is dead, and Paul continues on.

Sorry to adds a separate comment but I had this thought that to me seems very important to make. That point being that Paul unfairly copped so much abuse during periods of his career. When the Beatles broke up everyone was accusing and attacking Paul. When John died everyone claimed McCartney was harsh and didn't seem to care (all based on just an on the spot moment response to a deeply personal question) and then in the eighties he was often critically attacked as an artist. He seemed to be unfashionable for a period even though he still sold out stadiums. Then there was the Heather period from which many people still slag of Paul despite the fact he was legally found innocent and Heather described by the judge as inconsistent and dishonest. The loss of Linda after losing John and so many others since. There is just so much grief and sadness that Paul has had to endure throughout his lifetime.
Yet here we are in his eight decade and he has continued to bring music, joy and love into our lives whilst also letting it be with those past moments of loss, tragedy and even unfair blame.
So what a wonderful video post because I believe it is only in maybe the last ten years that people have come to fully realise two things. That Paul McCartney is one, if not the best composers of music ever, and secondly he is an incredibly forgiving, kind and human with a ginormous capacity to love. We must treasure every day he remains with us on the Earth.

The songs' meaning & lyrics are also good. So good when I am sad and feel hopeless.
It is one of my favorite songs. I sang and did karaoke when I was in Junior high school at home. Such a nice memory if I remember all about that time, not only the time I sang.

He and John Lennon. Such peaceful people spreading songs of peace and love. It's no wonder they are so greatly admired world wide. Why did John deserve to die by violence? Troubling questions. I suppose you have reacted to John's "Imagine". It was actually written by Yoko. Humans can be so cruel but at the same time so loving. Why? I guess we will never understand. Keep spreading your peacefulness Lovely Lady.

Hi Mark. Only recently did I discover that Yoko wrote the lyrics. I wonder why she decided not to reveal it back then when released. I share your appreciation for the fact that such of music in that era was about love, peace and humanity. People really were more selfless back then (now there's a oxymoron). Great day to you.

2nd video in 2 days that' is not up my sleeve though. Aside from that, really lovely to watch your inspiration and how you dig the song. Never lose that spirit. Its the reason songs get made in the first place.
The criticism part: The Beatles was a group, and it is so evident that Lennon was the solo star of that show. Mccartney (TO ME) has always been a hackjob. His influence as a musician, songwriter and performer is grossly overstated.
When John Lennon walks on stage though, and opens with; " Before Elvis there was nothing" you know you're into something.
