@fraenkiboii I just downloaded this and was wondering why I was still able to control my physical amp eq. Your explanation made it make sense. I thought I had hooked it up to use preamps from the QC into my amps power amp section. This setup is almost better for my desired application. Awesome!
Great demo! This really helps with understanding the possibilities for the V4 range. Would it be possible/make sense to run this in the effects loop of the QC directly? So guitar -> QC - > Jack in effects loop -> back to QC (using the Jack's 1/4 cab simulated output) -> then use the QC xlr outputs? I was hoping to route it that way with either a QC or Helix to keep the stereo path and not have to take up to cab block
Hi John i am using this method with my boss MS3 which has 3 effects loops that can be used not unlike your set up , just one question if you accidentally turn of the loop with the jack or switch to a patch without the loop turned on in it there is a massive volume increase as it seems the power amp of the v4 is not controlled my the master volume ? have you noticed this
Hi John, I have a Victory Countess pre amp (unpowered) could this be used throught the QC into a powered frfr cab? I'd ideally only use the QC for effects in this setup
Hi James, for the effects loop the cables are just regular instrument cables, if you want to use the remote switching function on the footswitch input on the amp a TRS is needed for the dual function, thanks Victory
How high gain is the Jack? I play Breaking Benjamin or Alter Bridge style high gain but also need a clean channel for ambient cleans. I plan to use my HX effects in 4 cable method with the amp as well.
Hi Bill, the Jack on it's 2nd channel has a lot of gain which should be perfect for this style of play, channel one is designed to be a clean channel that when you push the gain up it crunches up. Thanks Victory
Yes this should have a remote channel switching output on the GX100, on the V4 amps there is a footswitch jack socket, this can be used to change channel and turn the reverb on and off. Thanks Victory
But John, I use just the return fx for power and real guitar cabinet and it feels like a real amp. No 4cable method. No offense. I’m just saying how I use it. Sounds and feels great.

I set my QC up with the bluguitar amp 1 iridium. It switches it midi too. Epic setup

Yes this should be fine to use in this application. You can have the QC after the V4 pre amp and this should be fine. Thanks Victory

Is the clean sound of this amp/pedal similar to The Duchess?? Or the are very different?
The clean is not the same as the Duchess clean, the Duchess clean is more 50's American style. Whereas the Jack is little bit more modern.
