I was disappointed that these backpacks feel like a weird nylon rough woven plastic material and isn't a heavy canvas. I thought carhartt jackets were made of a near-leather like canvas and thought the backpacks would be too
Hello havek23 😁 I like the rough texture feel and look of this backpack, and it has definitely held up well. This was my first Carhartt purchase, but it really comes down to preference. If we boycotted every company due to the choices their CEO’s/CFO’s/Presidents make, there wouldn’t be much left to purchase. Some impose mandates, some invest in terrible things, some are heavy drug users, etc. America has gotten out of control with boycotts. Sometimes they are warranted, but not every time. We pay for a good product, not for the owners personal opinions. If a company stopped offering retirement plans to its employees but still made great products, would we boycott them? Hopefully not.
