These two minutes of content are the reason Unraveled eventually happened. It is why we learned about Bowsers military hierarchy, the Zelda timelines, sexy Castlevania monsters, and so much more. What I am trying to say is that this is the most important video in human existence
Well a lot of Unraveled is BDG talking about video games and making jokes, Polygon is a game channel and BDG is almost always making jokes. We won’t see him do another Unraveled but in nearly every video he’s in he’ll be doing something similar and you can look forward to even more series BDG creates!

Why do people in this comment section think it's "cool" that they don't like Polygon? Hope you feel real big and tall now. Brian, congrats my dude you're gonna fit in great and I'm excited to see what you bring to an already hilarious team there!
don't state that polygon journalists make hitpieces and don't investigate like it's some sort of a fact. people misread things. face it. but this doesn't detract from the fact that it was probably a joke. we're just saying that the people at polygon are really good and funny people, and polygon helped him through hard times, so you really shouldn't act shitty to them, especially since most sources stating that polygon is a bad website aren't good sources and regularly get things wrong about the articles.
violin! a polygon journalist did make that one infamous hitpiece about the guy who refunded sonic forces, it's a fact that they did make a hitpiece and was uninvestigative, you could say that one journalist cant really represent them, but nevertheless she did work for polygon, it's not misread, it's just overhyped

when we met, every few minutes or so his phone would just erupt bdg
If I had applied for this job at Polygon and then saw this video, I wouldn’t even be mad or remotely upset I didn’t make it. This was incredible
i really can't stop watching this and i'd like to think that's how everyone at polygon felt
and that they were like "oh my god we NEED HIM"
I accidentally added this to my "LGBT stuff" playlist, but you know what? I'm keeping it there. It deserves a spot there.
why do you have an lgbt stuff playlist
@@vicic6340 why wouldn't you
i wanted to like this comment but you're at a solid 69
@@crimesinspaaace sorry i fucked up
Dank Memery wait check his lgbt playlist, nothing in there is anything lgbt related
Now, he WAS the best thing on Polygon.
Facts. I unsubscribed once I heard the news since I won't be going back there now (unless its to watch old unraveled's)
@@DragnEYE I'd resub just for overboard, honestly. Even without Brian, Pat, Simone and everyone else play off each other so well.
@@wiiuandmii7619 True as that might be, I can't fathom going back there, without Brian it can only get worse at this point. Feel free to stay at polygon but my new home is here on BDG
They called him a fool... BUT DOES HE LOOK LIKE A FOOL?
YES A LITTLE BIT
Yes, but a good one
Idk man but he's the cutest damn fool I've ever seen
In the middle of sending out resumes. I realize now that I've been doing it all wrong
I'm happy Dale got a job at Polygon after all that drama with his brothers. I hope he returns to the music industry someday tho.
looking back on this silly little video actually makes me tear up because you have created necessary and impactful joy with series like those
I’m volunteering at a shitty little shoebox of a theatre and my payment is knowing the attic is a little more organized and less likely to collapse and has at least 30% less raccoons (the tech stuck up there are appreciative), also making fun stuff and learning to build (and how not to build) things. I fucking love it, and I wouldn’t have been so encouraged to push myself in there without your content. thank you so fucking much.
I watched the last episode of Unraveled today and I didn't realize before that how much your videos have actually meant to me. Stay the way you are/were, I hope you'll let us follow your escapades for a little longer.
As sad as it is that Brian left polygon, I'm glad that he can spend more time making jorts, pepcorn, and 10 to 20k a month by being his own boss.
Help I can’t get the song out of my head please release it on Spotify or iTunes so I can buy it so I don’t have to keep playing RUclips to listen to it
listen on repeat
I feel its only right to make a pilgrimage back here considering the news. Its been one hell of a journey
This hits differently now.
I think its crazy that this is probably my favorite BDG video ever and he made it for a cover letter. I watch this like several times a year and probably will continue to forever
Coming back now that he’s leaving polygon is bittersweet
You helped an anxious guy like me feel at ease. Thank you Brian.
Literally went on to make the most popular series in the history of polygon.
in this video he seems so anxious and young and i know i literally have never met this man in my life but i'm really proud of what he's done since this??? he seems so much more confident now, like he's grown up and has figured his shit out, you know? its really cool :0
These two minutes of content are the reason Unraveled eventually happened. It is why we learned about Bowsers military hierarchy, the Zelda timelines, sexy Castlevania monsters, and so much more. What I am trying to say is that this is the most important video in human existence
Who's here after he dropped his last Unraveled for Polygon :(
I haven’t even finished the video yet bc I’m still sad that the series is over :((
Well a lot of Unraveled is BDG talking about video games and making jokes,
Polygon is a game channel and BDG is almost always making jokes.
We won’t see him do another Unraveled but in nearly every video he’s in he’ll be doing something similar and you can look forward to even more series BDG creates!
@@Mossymushroomfrog18 Brian left Polygon
@@mynewaccount2604 oof well we’ll just see funny regular BDG then
Literally everyone who will ever see this video
Oh my god. Imagine being the one to see this, seeing the same, monotone formal videos, and thinking you’ll see that, again, but you get his masterpiece, instant hire
I bet there were other weird ones too
Man I can’t believe he’s leaving now, it feels like he just started.
It's weird to see how much more confident he looks after just a few years
I discovered this guy last night, and I've never fallen in love faster
Quite a bittersweet feeling to watch this vid again today.
Unraveled was fantastic, but the content he's uploaded this year on this channel makes me hopeful for what's to come.
Why do people in this comment section think it's "cool" that they don't like Polygon? Because first of all, you're absolutely wrong and Polygon are great but secondly, clearly Brian is excited about his new job and you're just shitting all over it for no reason. Hope you feel real big and tall now. Brian, congrats my dude you're gonna fit in great and I'm excited to see what you bring to an already hilarious team there!
no polygon is actually just really good
don't state that polygon journalists make hitpieces and don't investigate like it's some sort of a fact. people misread things. face it. but this doesn't detract from the fact that it was probably a joke. we're just saying that the people at polygon are really good and funny people, and polygon helped him through hard times, so you really shouldn't act shitty to them, especially since most sources stating that polygon is a bad website aren't good sources and regularly get things wrong about the articles.
Hes doing the videos, which is the fun and interesting side of polygon, rather than the samey gaming articles
violin! a polygon journalist did make that one infamous hitpiece about the guy who refunded sonic forces, it's a fact that they did make a hitpiece and was uninvestigative, you could say that one journalist cant really represent them, but nevertheless she did work for polygon, it's not misread, it's just overhyped
People have opinions, they have full right to state them and also be cool with that. Shut up trying to suppress other peoples opinions with your own.
He really followed up on that final line: "Together we can make much more than a video about a game."
He really loves his Waluigi. *Looks at latest unraveled*
I'm so proud. I enjoy Polygon's video works too, so I can't wait to see you showing up in them at some point!
our boy grew up so fast
@@vexsten1105 He gives us some of their best stuff...
Rewatching this now that he’s left Polygon, dang it feels like it was just yesterday that the Zelda Timeline came out
Here after his last Unraveled. I’m gonna miss them, but I’m excited to see what BDG does next!!
hopefully he continues to fight baddies with his best pal, Link
This hits different after he’s left Polygon, the end of truly wonderful era.
awwww im supposed to be researching video resumes for school and i wish i could actually send in something like this, something that actually reflects my passions
RIP Brian's Polygon Career
December 2017-December 2020
You did great, and we can't wait to see what you do next!
when this guy is the only reason you found polygon
and only reason you stayed
Cant wait for the song about him not working for polygon
Saw this in my recommended after watching your final Unravelled. You've come so far, but still managed to keep your style! Grateful for your time at Polygon and I can't wait to see what you do in the future!
I love the little time capsule that this video is, before Brian went on to make arguably the most successful series in Polygon's history.
Who else is revisiting this video now that the job he got with this video is over? Goodbye and farewell BDG's Unraveled, we all will miss you.
“give up on your dreams of becoming a baker” to this video, to unraveled is the best character arc i’ve ever seen
Welp, Guess this is the the Unravelled Pilot Episode because damn it feels like Unravelled.
it is truly amazing to see the Saga of Brian David Gilbert and unraveled videos
can you tell the name of background music's name Brian used in his dope video cover???
Coming here now that Unraveled is over just makes me sad
One day this man shall own polygon...
Nay, THE WORLD!
Brain=Lord DIO
Just finished the last ever unraveled, and came back to watch this. I mean, I am high af off of weed brownies but I am still crying a bit. Cant wait to see what he does next!
I watched this about seven times in a row. Then RUclips put it in my recommended feed.
So I watched it again
0:38 Holy crap, that was genius.
