Changing the fuel filter on a 2004 Lincoln Navigator

Thanks for sharing this video.. I changed my filter following your instructions. There was a lot more fuel than I expected and the clips were on there a little tighter than I assumed. But overall, awesome! New filter!

Thanks for the tips on the blue clip. It saved me a ton of time! As for the other connector, I was able to get a plastic tool from the parts store for $2.99. The metal fitting came off almost instantly. For a treat, empty the fuel filter into a glass jar (reverse flow)...after 117k miles mine looked like gritty coffee!

The service guy at Firestone told me our"04 expedition did not have a fuel filter except for the one on the fuel pump. It located the same place as in your video.

@MrHOLLYWOOD76 If the clicking is near the passenger side back door, it could be coming from the rear AC compressor (underneath the cup holder in my Expedition). I have that issue in my 2004 Expedition.

Thus video helped me thanx. Quick question. I have a 04 navigator when I start the truck i could be hot or cold when I start it it makes a grinding noise followed by a ticking sound it goes away after driving. Does this happen to you. Hopefully u can help
