It looks like we’re actually getting a test drive unlimited game, we’ve got the luxurious cars, clothes, money, casinos, and the amazing location. All we need now is the most important part, the gameplay.

It's great how TDU inspired the Forza Horizon series and helped pioneer the open world racing genre, but it's even better how TDU is finally coming back with a worthy entry of its own, hopefully.

If horizon 5 was set in Japan like half the fan base was asking for then the market would be over saturated in terms of Asian region open world racers. Super keen for this one!

Mexico is a better choice than Japan, Its very unlikely for playground games to ever do Japan because of how tight it is and not living up to peoples expectations which it certainly wouldn't. It just doesn't fit for a horizon game and people need to calm their JDM boners

Wow, was it that hard for a racing game to finally take place in a asian country?
I’m still so baffled why FH5 didn’t end up being set there. There was so much evidence for it up until 2 months before where people predicted it was more likely to be set in Mexico suddenly… was it because they knew of this game’s development? Or too difficult to create the world? Idk, seems like the latter as the Mexico map in FH5 looks like it will be quite empty :/ hopefully this does not
@@michaelhamilton4133 one possible reason was the extremely high expectations from the community for making fh5 Japan. Mexico was completely new so players wouldn't have some preconceived idea of how it should feel or look
We really need a game in Japan. So many aspects of car culture there... Forza missed a great chance with the last one. I'm saying it because Japan's countryside and mountains are perfect for every car enthusiast's dream, from off roading to drifting to drag racing in the Wangan
Maybe they'll wait for more people to switch over to the latest Xbox so they can use the full potential when developing the game and they don't need to keep the older Xbox in mind.
@@michaelhamilton4133 pretty easy to understand honestly they wanna wait till they have a huge list of features and players than they will drop Japan mark my words no Japan right now cause after Japan they know Forza will go nowhere so they are making sure they hit every spot possible
The games release is in September of next year, they probably don't have proper gameplay to show yet

FYI, Hong Kong Island is only 1/3 of Hong Kong city. Most of the fun off-road parts are not on the island.
