About 10 yrs ago, I found a bottle of hair ...stuff on my local grocery's marked down shelf. It said "heat protection for blow drying" so I decided to try it. (I can imagine your face right now.) I used about a dime size amount combing it through damp hair before blow drying. My sets would last almost 4 days. When the bottle ran out, I couldn't find the same stuff so I used what I had before. I really just watched you put Olaplex on toast... But thank you for everything I have learned from you. I have been a barber for 15 years, and blowouts and having long, healthy hair is a very different skill set from bald fades. 💖
Mmmm, Olaplex on toast! Sounds like a lovely breakfast idea. --- Bu seriously, taking a blowtorch to a piece of bread coated with hair product? Chris, you crack me up.
LOL…awesome demo! I love Kenra products. Good to know it stood up to a blow torch…lol. BTW, I admire your recommendations and the fact you’re not pushing crap products to the masses. You have consistently recommended the same products because they work. Bravo!
But why didn’t he SAY Kenra out loud? I used to think he must’ve went to a Redken school (here in Michigan they were called Regency, I attended myself) because he always seemed to recommend Redken products. I have been die hard on Kenra for several years now, since I have the license to shop at CosmoProf. He 💩on blow dry sprays because he doesn’t like the “dry faster” claim and potential for over-drying, but I LOVE the Kenra blow dry spray. I admit, I have been leaning on that as my heat protection but now I’ll break down and try their official heat protection product. I just don’t understand why he didn’t say it out loud 🤷♀️
We need more recommendations for flat iron/spray protectants because the Kenra and the Redken are not readily available in Europe/RoW. Is the Alterna/Bumble and Bumble Bonding/ Keune (for example) hot irons sprays fit for purpose?
I’ve just bought beauty works heat protectant. I feel like any spray that says it can be used on dry hair will protect properly. If it says it has to be applied to damp hair then you know it’s more of a detangler/leave in conditioner.
I came here to say this. Impossible to get hold of Redken Heat Sets 22 in the UK. It’s the only heat protectant mentioned in his recommended products list. Only place it seems to be available here is on Amazon but reviews suggest that the products there might be counterfeit. So I don’t know what to go for instead.
I have never watched this many hair videos in my life Chris .. your advice WORKS!!!! Thank you thank you for sharing your wealth of info and expertise 🙏🏽💕
The thumbnail is priceless! Also, I will forever like, comment, and engage with your channel because I cannot thank you enough for recommending the olaplex no6 cream. It is the product I have been looking for my whole life and is a lifesaver for my super thick and curly hair.
can you do this but on extensions? I watched a product chemist who said this isn't an accurate testing method. can y'all upvote so he sees this? I love his product reviews and need his opinion on this!!!
I agree. I'm not a chemist, but I have degrees in Biology and Physical Therapy and I have been around true research methods. Hair and bread are very different. Toasters and curling irons are very different. Testing with real hair extensions and hot hair tools may be a better method.
This was one of the most impressive demonstrations I've ever seen. It definitely gives me more confidence in the heat treatments you recommended that I just got. ❤
What exactly heat protectants should contain as in ingredients? How to recognize that a product is a good heat protectant, also iron heat protectant? Would be good if you can educate us on being aware when looking on products :)
This is borderline genius...and hilarious. I was definitely using THE SAME leave in conditioner that he showed that claims to double as a "heat protectant" as my primary heat protectant. I feel duped 😡
In all he's videos he said it was just a leave in conditioner and love it for just that. I was surprised he put it in this video but I guess he just wanted to prove that.
It's a good leave-in, but you still need an additional protectant. Marketing & consumerism is why they put so many misleading things on products - the entire goal is to get you to buy, buy, buy. If you mess up your hair, you'll just be looking to always buy something better and different than what you have.
I have very thick and coarse hair. I bought the Kenra thermal spray and love it! I’ve been using a flat iron for years and it’s was what I have needed to keep my hair lasting for days between washes.
Ok I had to come back here to say I tried the Redken blow out cream and holy $h!t I’m so impressed. It did all the work for me. I do not blow out my hair and I’m crap at it but this stuff is amazing and it made it so easy. I am 46 and have never enjoyed doing my hair. Only regret is I wish I had found you sooner. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
i would really love to see you make a video about shorter hairstyles - above the shoulder length. Especially in terms of what counts as ends/mids, how much product to use, and how to help styles stay for longer. My hair isn't long enough to put in a loose bun while I sleep so I always have crazy bedhead! Also how can I make my bangs styling last longer?
When you held the bread and started using the torch on it I almost had a heart attack I thought you were going to burn your hand. Those torches cut through metal ( heavy duty). I was totally surprised how well the heat protection actually worked on bread that was super creative ❤great video and for future reference wear gloves with a torch and never hold what you’re using it on 😂
Ordered the two irons and saved well thanks to you. Ordered the big blow out too. Day four of following you. The shampooing twice convinced me - your awesome!
I went to Ulta & i was gonna get the Thermal 22 Spray by Redken, the lady at Ulta suggested that i get Thermal 11 instead since i have fine straight hair. at 5:49 the "redken" bread actually comes out burned, but then quickly switched with another bread slice ... i was planning to buy the specific product based on his recommendation in other videos but now i realize he may not be as honest as i thought
He didn't switch it. You can see the same marks on the redken bread the entire time through all the video cuts. They're just harder to see after the first cut because the camera is zoomed out.
Hi the Blowout Professor, I would like to ask you if you could cover the topic of products for blonde hair (to cancel out yellow or orange tones/pigments). Which purple or blue shampoo do you find to be the best ones? Which shampoo is best for preserving or retaining a colour? Which toners do you find to be best for blonde hair? I’m looking forward to see you cover this topic of your favourite products for blonde hair. Sincerely, Sija
I really enjoyed this video. So funny and clever in sharing info that can be somewhat boring. Glad to see a cheaper product that works but will keep in mind what you said about it. Times are tough and may have to deal with a little "stick."
Chris, your recommended product list is a game changer!!!! Thank you so much!!! i tried the redken frizz tame for my coarse hair and it really gave it a complete different feeling (although I always thought my products were finde already :D as you said in a few videos, people dont know what they dont know) You're my favorite Hair Stylist because youre honest and have our best interest at heart.
A “hair expert” at Ulta told me you must represent a brand. She told me not to get a couple of products you recommended. Then she recommended a Dry Bar product and a major upsell from Revlon’s blow dry brush to the Dry Bar brush. I bought the Revlon and took back her recommended product to pick up yours. Now I’m doing the trinity for fine hair. I just got the Kenra hairspray that you recommend. I really like these high end products. My hair feels, smells and looks so good. I can go days without washing. Thank you so much! I’m learning with curls and styling but still it looks pretty good. What a difference good products make.
Brand loyalty for the most part is no longer the way to go these days. In the past 30-60 yrs ago There were certain brands that did everything better. Now brands bank on there name and a few popular good things to sell hundreds of things you could find better for less.
Be careful when sales people convince you a well thought out purchase is a bad choice. Happened to me at Sephora ended up with terrible products. I’m in the same boat. I found Carina Organics on Amazon and it’s great. I just ordered Briogeo on ulta but it’s not here yet. Those are the only two products I can even find that are hypoallergenic.
Really cool video! But! there’s one problem with the video . When you compare the Redken 22 and the OGX Silk Blowout, you pop them out of the toaster with your hand before the toaster was finished! Of course they’re not going to burn the same if you pop them out early! Why did you do that? You could have at least edited that you popped them out early. That didn’t look good at all.

I purchased the Sephora Oleplex 6 & 7 set at Christmas, and I do not like the oil at all. Then I saw Tiktok videos with a tip lighting on fire with that oil. I rave about Oleplex 6 and love 3 on occasion, plus the shampoo and condition, I'm tossing that oil. I also purchased that Pureology conditioner and noticed my hair damaging from blow dry and straightening. It was healthier when I just used the 6. just Pureology makes my hair so soft and almost static. Got the kenra for curls and doesn't work that bad when I curl, makes my hair dirty the next and I use a little and brush first.
Great idea with your testing method, very easy to see & understand the results. I wonder if the type of hair (kinky 4c vs naturally straight ) would cause different results on actual hair.
This vid goes a long way just the other day my cosmology teacher had me on the sideline watching my other colleagues washing & doing blow drying & I couldn’t help my self to ask them what are the proper brushes for all hair types so when my turn comes I can give the client excellent service ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hi! I don’t know where you live, but I remember back in school that everyone wanted to get out there and do hair right away. A few girls decided to go shampoo under a senior stylist straight out of school, and everybody else said no way, that’s what school was for. Who do you think made more money? The few who went to shampoo. Because they were in high end salons, after a couple short years of gaining real world experience, they graduated to their own chairs charging more than double what their peers were making. 🤔 I guess I’m saying, weigh all your options and stay out of Fantastic Sam’s or Haircut House or whatever. School prepares you to pass state exams, but does not a hairdresser make! Good luck and have fun!
I have to TRUST in the PROCESS I am not in a rush to practice while I am in school I have folks on the side that support me & let’s me do a basic hair blower/color touch ups I do appreciate & feel all the positive energies ❤️🍀🙏🏼

I wash my hair and condition then I am using blowout gel and the heat spray from redken as you recommend BUT my hair is curly and on second day my hair is looking like a have never straightened it and on third day is began to be greasy. Do you have any idea why my hair is reaching like that? The only reason why I am not using purelogy leave in is, is it not avaible in DK. Thank you 😊

I never style my hair past washing and air drying but now I will be. ❤ I actually cried tears of happiness this morning. Thanks for breaking it down easily. ❤also this was a fun video to watch!😊
I bought your Kenra 19 thermal spray and hated it. Not great on fine hair. Too thick and sticky. I returned it and got the Kenra 22. It’s an ultra fine mist. It says protects up to 450. So much better! Shiny and light! You should choose the 22 for fine hair over your 19. I also love the JVN serum in the jar for my blow dry cream. It’s the original toast test approved!
In his instructional videos, Chris doesn't recommend Kenra 19 for fine hair. I've watched all his videos. He instructs K 19 is for coarse hair. I have coarse hair and it works great especially if you hold it away from your head as he demonstrates.
He recommends Redken 22 for fine hair. They also have an 11. He specifically says to NOT buy the Kenra unless you're not a beginner and you have coarser hair. He says DON'T buy the Kenra product right here in this video that you're commenting on as well. Keep watching, and you'll hear him continue to talk about this particular product.
I use the Oribe blow dry spray but it feels super oily and how I am concerned that it burns my hair instead of protecting!😳 Can you please try out oribe products and review?
Hi, professor! Could you do a video on coloured/colour-treated hair? Which products should be prioritised, for example, shampoo for coloured hair or volume shampoo (according to the hair type test, my result is fine hair). Thank you so much!
He recommends products by hair type only, this is a grey area in my opinion as I have fine hair that's bleached and I do not want volume in my hair. I also think over bleached hair is highly porous which is the opposite to fine hair.
Awesome experiment, Chris! Seeing is believing. You handled the blow torch like a pro! I love the Pureology leave-in conditioner. Thanks for this demo!!

question you recommend the volume injection for people with thin / fine hair .. but i was just doing research that it’s a PH shampoo , i have read that PH shampoo is only good for people with thick hair because if your hair is thin / fine it causes it to be dry and breakage .. which i have been experiencing with this shampoo could you please talk about this ? and maybe give a different shampoo with out ph because ever since using that exact shampoo my hair is brittle and a rats nest ..

First off, Chris! This was an awesome video, and you are hilarious! I just have a quick question for you. What is your opinion on It’s a 10 leave in conditioner. Is it a good or bad leave in conditioner?
I took his hair type quiz and was surprised by the accurate results I got, but I guess stylists don’t use the number system I’m always seeing (I.e. 3a, 4c, etc.). I also checked out the products that matched my quiz results and was again surprised to see how affordable they were. Now that I have them in my email I may consider buying from their site one day.
When I read reviews at Sephora I would sort by hair type but then saw that white people called their hair coarse! I think black hair types aren’t included in these charts.
Wrong. Black hair IS coarse hair, Caucasians aren’t the only ones with that hair type. If you Google the definition of coarse and look at the corresponding pictures, you’d see that. In addition, a good stylist knows about all different hair types and textures, not just their own.
Hair type, i.e. fine, medium coarse and hair texture i.e. 2a, 3c, 4b, etc. are both often referred to as hair type, but are two separate things. The former refers to the diameter of each strand of hair and the latter refers to how curly or straight your hair is. The number + letter system is classifying curl shapes. You can have fine curly hair, coarse straight hair, fine wavy hair, coarse curly hair, etc.
Thank you for all of this wonderful content!!! I would love a recommendation for a pre-iron heat protectant without short-chain alcohols in the formulation. I learned the hard way to avoid those in all hair and skin care products ( for postmenopausal females ).
I use the olaplex 6 and 7, and also color wow. That's crazy, that Olaplex oil is not going to be a repurchase from me after seeing that burnt toast. I used the Pureology and Redken hair spray ones in the past and liked Redken.
THANK YOU! I've struggled with my hair for 40 years and your tips fixed it! PLEASE weigh in though if you can on the Olaplex lawsuit. I love that stuff and now i'm worried about using it. I've had zero issues though. What are your thoughts?
Can you do a video on two things please?! 1. How to handle cowlicks to the back of the head. 2. How to diffuse. Some days i just want to go natural meaning no straightening or curling iron and want my natural wavy, slightly curly hair to shine through.
This is why I love this channel. All of your videos are so informative and fun at the same time! Thanks Chris ☺️
Sure… bread is just like hair😅😅😅
Me too 🙃
In all he's videos he said it was just a leave in conditioner and love it for just that. I was surprised he put it in this video but I guess he just wanted to prove that.
Can someone say CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT 💅
It's a good leave-in, but you still need an additional protectant. Marketing & consumerism is why they put so many misleading things on products - the entire goal is to get you to buy, buy, buy. If you mess up your hair, you'll just be looking to always buy something better and different than what you have.
Me too omg🤣
I have very thick and coarse hair. I bought the Kenra thermal spray and love it! I’ve been using a flat iron for years and it’s was what I have needed to keep my hair lasting for days between washes.
¡Gracias!
Thanks!
Thank you Amy Beth! 🙏
Would love a series testing heat protectants. I've used IGK, Alterna, kerastase, and Redken, but don't know which works best.
How did you find the Alterna?
@@eme8237 it's at Ulta
I really appreciate your no-nonsense.
When you held the bread and started using the torch on it I almost had a heart attack I thought you were going to burn your hand. Those torches cut through metal ( heavy duty). I was totally surprised how well the heat protection actually worked on bread that was super creative ❤great video and for future reference wear gloves with a torch and never hold what you’re using it on 😂
I bought the redden blow out cream. Because of your videos. I’m glad to see it really works!!
I did & I am impressed even though I naturally have straight hair I get a layer of frizz in humid weather. It smooth it out. Thank you for putting these to the test.
I have to say that my hairdresser loves the strength , growth and softness and smoothness from using the products you recommend and I’m getting a lot of compliments on my hair , thank you for your videos plus’s I’m doing more with my hair little by little with your videos
One way to test it is to put the heat protectant on a qtip then light it with a lighter. The mizani thermastrength doesn’t catch on fire at all 🙌🏾
at 5:49 the "redken" bread actually comes out burned, but then quickly switched with another bread slice ... i was planning to buy the specific product based on his recommendation in other videos but now i realize he may not be as honest as i thought
He didn't switch it. You can see the same marks on the redken bread the entire time through all the video cuts. They're just harder to see after the first cut because the camera is zoomed out.
Hi the Blowout Professor,
I would like to ask you if you could cover the topic of products for blonde hair (to cancel out yellow or orange tones/pigments). Which purple or blue shampoo do you find to be the best ones? Which shampoo is best for preserving or retaining a colour? Which toners do you find to be best for blonde hair?
I’m looking forward to see you cover this topic of your favourite products for blonde hair.
Sincerely,
Sija
Do you have any videos on how to care for curly and black hair care?
Check out Manes by Mell and Glamfam hair & beauty for knowledgeable curly hair care!
Brought the hot sets 22 and I'm finding it difficult to use, even holding it away.
Is the hot sets 11 good?
Loving your videos
In the past 30-60 yrs ago
There were certain brands that did everything better. Now brands bank on there name and a few popular good things to sell hundreds of things you could find better for less.
I’ve noticed he has his favorite brands so it’s possible he has a multiple video deal with them.
yah i love my conair hot hair brush. i got it cuz it was ceramic, smaller size, and no balls at end so hopefull it doesnt get tangled.
Be careful when sales people convince you a well thought out purchase is a bad choice.
Happened to me at Sephora ended up with terrible products.
Not only do they have incentives but they don't
Know all the reasons you are looking for a specific product other than you're hair and skin type. There are many other factors in
Choosing hair and cosmetic products.
@@annan.3283 possibly but he chose the best ones to represent. Olaplex and Morroccan oil are seriously great products.
Expensive but you only need a few of them mixed with more Affordable options.
1 bottle of olaplex 2 lasted me 2 yrs and saved my hair from bleaching damage.
As far as the oil its great but pure argon oil from a vitamin shop is a better buy.
Thank you for your videos, I really like how transparent and honest you are! I would love for you to do a similar video about protecting silver/white hair from heat. I do need to use hot tools a few times a week and I don't want to damage/burn it.
I wish you would do a video about unscented products, but no scent at all. No fragrance dosent equal no scent. We're so many people lacking good haircare. You do it and I'll make sure it gets to 10k of us:))
I prefer scented products and my hair smell so nice! Maybe try a vegan gluten everything free store they have some products for hair.
Kijk eens naar 5.49….. eerst bruin er uit aan 2 kanten en in eens bij 4.50 wit 😂😂😂😂
Sorry kijk graag naar je video’s maar deze is volgens mij een scam 😢
genuine question: why is the redken recommended over the kenra?? the kenra is too "heavy duty" but it is significantly cheaper?
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Can’t wait for the results
Great video but still can’t find the Redken 22 hot sets in Ireland 😭
Please suggest on which hair dye causes less damage and how to use it
Would love to know your shampoo recommendations for fine hair that’s been colored treated
That’s my hair too
I live for that blow torch at the end. 😊
I’ve been watching your videos to learn how to take better care of my hair. I like how you are to the point and not trying to promote just any product. I appreciate it!!!
Do you think you will ever do a video about what is the best hot rollers to use? How or best techniques when your using hot rollers?
Thanks!!!
I use the kenra heat protectant at home and am just very careful not to over do it and I love it so much! I love this video, so cool!
I think this is the best experiment video on heat protection on RUclips. I love this video. Please do a part 2. I wish you would have added more sprays. Bumble and Bumble is the top rated one on Ulta and the employees tell me it Is the most best selling one. Please do a part 2 and add more sprays. Thank you.
This vide absolutely made me feel so much better about using heat on my hair!
Lol love the video! So should I apply the redken cream before blow dry and the redken before ironing? Is that too much?
Yes, that’s what he’s recommended in previous videos.
Hi!! Can you please make a video talking about keratin treatments? That would be great! Thank you 💗💗
The Redken BlowOut Pomade is legit, learned about it from you and it's kept my daughter and my hair in tip top shape while styling!
Chris, i am uding a iron on my hair. I bought Moroccan shampoo and conditioner and nr 7 olaplex.
Thank you 😊
New sub here ❤ washed and curled my hair according to your tips and I have curl on 2nd day hair. Thought my hair was notoriously hard to curl but it was my technique and products.
I use the Oribe blow dry spray but it feels super oily and how I am concerned that it burns my hair instead of protecting!😳
Can you please try out oribe products and review?
You should do a video for gray fizzy hair, products, staling, etc ….please 🙏🏻 😁
I already used your products but I still think something is missing. Thank you in advance
Thank you so much. I always ask hair dresses which is the best heat protector and they never know.
What do you recommend to stop grey hair going yellow when using heat?
hey chris
would you please recommend another product for iron protection ?
and does the iron steam babyliss good for hair ?
I can’t find redken 22 in middle east
thanks in advance ❤
i only found olaplex 6 for blowing out
5:49 Clearly burnt. Then he switched the bread 😂
Yupppp!!! I saw that too. Why switch it up if it’s as good as he says?
Can you show us correct application of heat protectant? And how much blow dry cream to use?
I would love an update video on this and also it would be super helpful if you had a product recommendation for products available in Europe 🙆🏽♀️
Thank you for these amazing videos i have damaged hair and these really gave me hope and understanding of the situation. Also i was wondering if you could make a video about scalp sprays and that kind of scalp treatments promoting faster hair growth
thank you again have a nice day
Love your Videos 💖 could you please do a video on your opinion on henna dye. is it good or bad and does it thickens hair?? there are so many different opinions 😥
This is the content I signed up for! Excellent job!! 👏🏻
Can you please make a video on texturizing hair spray? Very interested in hearing what you have to say. ❤️
So use the blow out cream/gel when blow dry and heat protectant spray when flat iron. I currently use the redken conditioner spray for blow out and the redken heat protectant for flat iron. Do you suggest all three. I have fine to medium hair. Thanks
Now that I have followed your advice, I only wash my hair 1-2 times a week. My question is: I am still doing a little styling with the new Revlon brush on my dry hair. I think if I put the usual Redken on dry hair it would get gloppy and gross. How do I protect hair on non wash days? Thank you!😅 8:37
Hi im new to channel and subscribed straight away.i live in the uk and cant seem to get the hotshot 22 heat protecter but can find it with the numbers 11 is this the same or if not can you recommend a uk one just as good or put a link to the uk xx
Also in the UK and agree with you about not being able to get the hot 22, can't seem to get hold of the big blow out cream either.
@@mp2375 No, no me either sadly hope he responds to this for alternatives
Hi Professor. Thanks for the video. I am confused, do I need to use both, the Redken blow-dry cream and the 22 thermal blow-dry at the same time? Thanks
Hi Chris! I watched a lot of your video’s and the’re very helpfull. Thanks for that! The only problem is that I can’t get the Redken 22 spray in the Netherlands.. 😔 Is there any alternative? Instead of the other one that you just talked about?
Loving the burnt toast🔥question I see you sell Moroccanoil, I use their Perfect Defence, good?
I only buy Cruelty free, Redken is not cruelty free.
Thanks for a really fun, but informative video.
question you recommend the volume injection for people with thin / fine hair .. but i was just doing research that it’s a PH shampoo , i have read that PH shampoo is only good for people with thick hair because if your hair is thin / fine it causes it to be dry and breakage .. which i have been experiencing with this shampoo could you please talk about this ? and maybe give a different shampoo with out ph because ever since using that exact shampoo my hair is brittle and a rats nest ..
Great video, are there any other great heat protectants apart from the redken 22 and kenra? i cant seem to find it anywhere and im based in the uk 😞
Another great video. Could you do a video with tips on how to protect the hair, best products to use when going to the pool or beach please? thanks a lot
I have watched a lot of your videos and searched threw your channel for videos dealing with shampooing, conditioning and scalp care for people with your length to 4 inches and all I see is videos dealing with very long hair. Like Product suggestion and care.
You’re a game changer Chris! Thank you.
Thank you for all of this wonderful content!!! I would love a recommendation for a pre-iron heat protectant without short-chain alcohols in the formulation. I learned the hard way to avoid those in all hair and skin care products ( for postmenopausal females ).
If you freeze the video at min 5:48 you can notice that the bread is burnt
omg wtf.. that’s so shad
I looove your honesty! Thank you so much for the video ❤️
So I love a lot of your videos but why at 5:49 is the toast clearly burnt but then afterwards you claim to show the products didn’t burn the toast ?
Can't get hotsets 22 anymore. 😢 Should I get the thermal 11 now?
I'm in the UK.
❤❤
I love these kinds of crazy tests 😍
loved it! 😝 made the point… this isn’t an actual scientific experiment but defiantly gets the point across 👍🏼
I use the olaplex 6 and 7, and also color wow. That's crazy, that Olaplex oil is not going to be a repurchase from me after seeing that burnt toast. I used the Pureology and Redken hair spray ones in the past and liked Redken.
I think you should still use the Olaplex oil for your ends after your style. Not as a heat protection. That’s what he recommended on this channel 💜💜
He doesn't recommend Olaplex for heat protection though. It's for hair hydration & management, but only a teeny amount on the ends.
THANK YOU! I've struggled with my hair for 40 years and your tips fixed it! PLEASE weigh in though if you can on the Olaplex lawsuit. I love that stuff and now i'm worried about using it. I've had zero issues though. What are your thoughts?
Unfortunately, most of these have perfumes and fragrances which many are sensitive to
Can you do a video on two things please?! 1. How to handle cowlicks to the back of the head. 2. How to diffuse. Some days i just want to go natural meaning no straightening or curling iron and want my natural wavy, slightly curly hair to shine through. I scrunch the hair with products and diffuse but it just ends up a hot, frizzy mess. Thank you!!!
