I settled my WC case on 12/21/23 and I was approved for ssdi on the same day , they’re doing a MSA and it’s been 4 months with no word yet .. does a MSA always take a long time or can it vary ??? Thank you
As a former MSA consultant, I’ll tell you that CMS approval can take a long time. They get overwhelmed at the end of the year because of the increase in settlements that claimants want to rush through before the holidays. Even if you don’t have CMS approval yet, and you do get the settlement funds, go ahead and set up your MSA account and find an administrator.
