The most corporatey feel to a card shop that could ever exist. I'm sure the store will do well, especially considering the strong backing from Fanatics who will load them with as much product as they could ever desire to take on, combined with a great location and Geoffs brand.

I think what people sometimes fail to consider is that security is a necessary evil. Every dollar of loss to theft (or to damaged merchandise) has to be made up somewhere else. The store isn't going to eat the loss, ownership isn't going to eat the loss. You're just going to see higher prices. So in effect, YOU'RE going to pay for the merchandise that's stolen. The question really becomes whether you want to pay a little more or wait a little more. In scenarios where there's crowding for a product release, you're not going to have to wait much on staff, because they're already going to be IN the area that you're interested in, helping other customers. In the long run, it seems like a minor inconvenience. Especially in a world where pharmacies are locking down deodorant and cans of spam because certain elements of our society will walk in and clear entire displays into rolling luggage and (depending on where you live) there isn't much the store or security can do to stop it.
@@kmacy90 I'm in NYC. I know all about this. For a card shop, if thieves understood the money in play and had a network to move stuff, they could probably knock ten grand worth of merch into a rolling luggage in about 30 seconds.

There is honestly no point going to any of these cards stores when there is eBay where you can bargain, auction, sell, buy at prices close to comps. A lot of these stores jack up the prices of cards.
They should put lights on each zone so the buyer doesn't have to find someone and the store can see who is ready to buy/inquire about specific items.

The store seems like one of those places that has a lot of cards but not a lot of anything good.
Sick video guys
Looks and sounds like somebody went in a beautiful made card shop, then immediately start hating right away.

Speaking of almost have 100k subscribers, can you explain how you generate revenue on RUclips?
Love it card sport everything lock up so the kids can not touch
I give it 3 years
Sounds about right. The hype of it being a new store and just a new place for people and card collectors to visit. Once the hype settles, it won't last. There is honestly no point going to any of these cards stores when there is eBay where you can bargain, auction, sell, buy at prices close to comps. A lot of these stores jack up the prices of cards.
Deuces… Dabs!
Just shows you the state of our culture have to lock up Pokémon. Loool
Only 26 hours from my house lol
Yesssss! Rip until you pull the Geoff Wilson card!
You could have bought the entire $1 box and made bank.
What’s the rush?
Way too much retail/blaster products
Who would have thought ATL would have locked cases? LOL
Haveing wax in cases is smart
We are talking about the retail wax not the hobby boxes..
