- Looking at Subscribers sim drifting rigs and judging them. Most of these sim rigs are for drifting and on a budget. A lot of Thrustmaster steering wheels, such as the T150 and T300 series. Some Logitech wheels like G27, G29 and G920 as well. Showing you my own sim drifting setup in the video too. Mine's T300RS GT with Thrustmaster Sparco handbrake and TH8A H-shifter. Very few home-made expensive sim racing builds which do stand out. Quite a few funny moments in the video while I review your setups. When I do another setup review video, I'll announce in Discord.

2:17 is a Logitech driving force gt. I had one of those when the current Sony console was the PS3. That wheel actually wasn’t bad. It has pretty much all the thing a g29 would have except for a clutch and I think the back paddles. It does have a sequential shifter that worked great.
it does have paddle shifters.. well theyre more just buttons haha

i have only driving force pro, but i will get on my christmas g29 and g29 shifter
@@rebelazurovy5034 I bought a g29 and the shifter a couple of years ago. It works great. But honestly I wish I would’ve just bought the Thrustmaster t300 because there’s so much more stuff you could buy to make your setup better in the future. But like I said G29 works great, especially for the price.

5:38 maybe they have a setup so they can use the shifter on the right to simulate a left hand drive car, and shifter on the left to simulate a right hand drive car, depending on the vehicle their using in the moment

I have the same wheel and one of them is a H-shifte and the other one is sequential.

2:02 i can confirm, the Logitech Driving Force GT is very good, not the best sensation but for 30€ u have FFB and 900 degres wheel
This. It's an extremely performing wheel but as a downside (apart from the obvious lack of clutch and shifter) is the noise which only matters if people around you like quiet environments, you don't hear it yourself while playing

I have that Wheel but it so hard to play cuze it only Wants to use 90 degrees steering in forza horizon 4

Pancido's setup, the Fanatec setup with 2 shifters, is the CSR shifter set that was the upgraded version of the Porsche shifters from Fanatec - now 10 or so years old. One H-pattern, one sequential. I have the same set :)
Looks like Most of us are definitely missing out on awesome experiences with sim racing setups!

2:10 is a Driving Force GT from Logitech, it’s actually a very good wheel for the price, it’s actually going up in price because people realize it’s really good, even though they rant being manufactured anymore, (I have that wheel)
The logitech driving force gt has feedback and is a great wheel for the price! Got it for $40 and use it as a secondary setup in case
It was my first wheel ever, back on the ps3 gran turismo 4 days. Good times . Great wheel , good force feed back .

I think the Fanatec setup with 2 shifters could be used for cars that are right and left hand drive, and to switch between each car for added realism.I'm probably wrong, but a theory nonetheless.

No, if you look carefully the left is a H shifter and the right is a sequential shifter.

@5:23 it's a second shifter set to be used as a handbrake but with this setup it will not retract back to the original position unless you bung a rubber band on it.
5:26 its actually pretty crative, i bet he uses the left shifter for right wheel cars, mostly jdm or uk cars, and the right shifter for leftwheel cars,
i started with the driving force gt and i think its great for a starter wheel
Since the advent of VR i ditched my screens and my setup is just the wheel, the shifter, the handbrake and my VR headset. IMO the best way to play racing games on 2021

The wheel with 2 shifters on each end was the fanatec csr elite wheel. Really good wheel if you can get it for a decent price! The bar goes through the wheel to mount the shifters. One is an h shifter and other is a sequential, weird it's on opposite ends though

at 5:43 the right “shifter” is a handbrake
because if you look at the base the rotor slider thing only goes back and forwards while the left one is a ball joint for shifting :)

2:04 that's Logitech driving force gt, one of the most cheapest with force feedback wheel in the market, it's really good tho, 5:57 . I believe that's a RHD setup (right hand drive where the driver seat is in the right, a true JDM indeed)
2:06 This is Logitech Driving Force GT and it's just an older and cheaper G29. The best wheel for the price if you're more into racing than drifting
You can still do drifting if you run it at 540° (had one for ~5 years)

i was on a G29 with playseat , now my BRIDE GT seat with a full custom frame is being built along with my custom hydro handbrake that was removed from a 350z drift car and made into electrical USB SIM hydro handbrake so the more you pull ingame is the more you will stop , gonna mount a T300 with T300 pedals and TH8A on that setup , then getting a VR for christmas , thats a big upgrade after having a playseat with a G29 for 5years , since i was 8 lmao
I never realized how many people play with Logitech wheels. I’m unfortunately past that stage in my sim racing career last week. TracRacer 80 rig and Simucube 2 pro is on the way!

The playseat is pretty expensive for what it is, its almost 400. but its actually not too abd, and it folds up in 45 seconds. I set up my rig in the living room and them put it away after. I bought a couple 3d printed parts to beef it up, not bad.. Running with t300rs and sparco rally wheel.
I have the playseat evolution at the moment (the one with metal bar between the legs). I’m planning on selling it then gonna buy the challenge brand new (for about the same price im gonna sell the evo). Do you think this is a downgrade in experience?

Pretty Dope, It comes with 2 shifters, One Secuential and a H Pattern
I think the setup with 2 shifters is for when your driving like a 12 speed truck
Might be depending if you are in a lhd or rhd car
They're Fanatec CSR Shifters, discontinued ~2016 - they bundled a sequential and an H-pattern for 60 bucks.

I just got a Logitech g25 and honestly I'm so grateful to have force feedback, three pedals, and a shifter now. It's night and day compared to my old Thrustmaster.
