It's not very often people are able to come back from a hiatus and preserve a high level of content. You guys came back better than ever! You should be proud!
My first tribal deck was a 60-card Liliana "tribal," and I really stuck to it the best I could! Eventually, I decided to leave five slots open for non-related cards, and it worked out much better lol
One of the big things for me when coming back was to kind of redesign everything. I get tired of looking at the same designs over and over and I wanted it to feel like a fresh start. Happy to hear you like them!
I feel so lucky! I friend of mine showed me the channel a couple of weeks ago and I started watching all your videos. Then I got sad when I noticed you stopped uploading videos, but now here we are! Thanks for the content! Great as always!
Glad to see you back! I think you may have misspoken @ 5:42, citing using Elvish Archdruid's ability when it had summoning sickness, although it was being tapped for mana with Heritage Druid's ability. Very minor
Great game! So glad to see you're back and up to shenanigans. Some more essay for the algorithm: I really like being able to check opening hands, so thanks for making the effort to keep track of them, but in the current format I can't actually read them! I usually watch these games on my tv and it's just too far away to read those small bars. Even when I walk to my pc it's kinda difficult. Oh and if you want to try some more out there stuff, maybe play a game of conquest!
Agree, I love to see opening hands. But I watch these episodes mostly on my phone so it's pretty difficult to read. But that's just a small thing, I'm so grateful to see your videos again!
It's nice seeing you back, and this is an interesting format. It may be worth it to make a ruling on whether shapeshifters count towards the tribal requirements, since there's arguments either way. In favor, allowing shapeshifters to count can let otherwise underrepresented tribes come a bit closer to the bar and see play. Against, there's the threat of a lot of potential tribal decks being a shell of shapeshifters and the tribe slotted in. On the third hand, I think by now there are probably enough shapeshifters to put forward an actual shapeshifter tribal deck for this format, consisting of shapeshifters benefiting from a confluence of other tribal effects.
Good game as always and a very cute puppy. My only feedback is on the opening hands. Just putting them on screen without saying anything about it felt like a miss to me and it was pretty small when they were on screen.
We wanted to try to clean up the intro to the video a little and thought that might be a good way to go about it. Making the cards a bit more obvious and easy to read is definitely something we can do though
@@CasuallyCompetitiveMTG i think the way ModAnon does opening hands is a good middle ground between what i particularly want and what you guys were aiming for. Might be something worth checking into to see if thats the way you want to go.
Haven't watched the whole episode yet but wanted to make a prediction after the intros: Adam on Elf Tribal is going to win. I think elves have the most competitive support and working within the restrictions I think they're positioned the best. But I really WANT Nate on Zombie Tribal to win because that list looks so cool lol Edit after watching: Awesome game! Really glad we got to see everyone do their thing. If you're reading this Casually Competitive, I have a small suggestion. The blue and purple colors you've chosen are really difficult to tell apart for people who are Red/Green colorblind. It's a really small detail, but if it possible to adjust those colors a bit to make them easier to tell apart your colorblind audience would really appreciate it! 😄
The colors were just initially chosen to match the deck sleeves but we can definitely change them. The next 2 videos are already edited and uploaded so those may have similar issues but for the videos after that I'll try to find a good set of colors and assign each player a color
@@CasuallyCompetitiveMTG Thank you! I know there are a whole bunch of production variables behind the scenes, so if it's too much of a hassle that's totally understandable. But I'm sure it would be appreciated by some of us 👍 Keep up the great work! I'm glad you guys are back!
so glad to see my favourite MTG gameplay channel. you guys play at my ideal powerlevel. altrough I miss the old style. I know that in the youtube enviroment everything needs to have these engagy calls to action. but I miss how impersonal and streamlined it used to be. it was just a incredibly proffesionally done channel with fun restrictions to keep it unique. and now its another youtube channel trying to be my friend. idk this is probably an unpopular opinion. still love the video.
As we get rolling more merch will be coming out. In the past we did backpacks, playmats, t-shirts, etc. Just trying to get back into after the long down-period!
I don't generally watch Magic games, but this was spectacular and riveting throughout! That Sharpshooter needs a promotion and a new sleeve for all the rotating it went through, bahahaha!
I am here to leave an essay in the comments: I really enjoyed the video. I have no problem with the restrictions, and I wanted to let everyone know of my strong feelings through my carefully worded monologue.
Yeah there are things I like from our old design that I miss, but mentally it's honestly really nice for literally everything (logo, branding, overlay, font, etc) to be new
So glad you guys are back! Didn’t notice it until now because the time off pushed you so far down the list. You were always my favorite gameplay channel with the off meta brews.
It took me a while to figure out/remember how the Sharpshooter/Twin combo works... it also requires a third creature with 1-toughness anywhere on the field. 1. Tap Sharpshooter to make a Twin copy; 2. Ping the 1-toughness creature with the copy, killing it and untapping both Sharpshooters; 3. Tap the original Sharpshooter to make a second copy; 4. Ping an opponent with one of the copies and have the other copy ping itself or the first copy to death, untapping the two remaining Sharpshooters; 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until everyone is dead.
I really enjoyed the video! It has the same fast paced commentary but with very detailed explanation similar to playing with power videos which i really enjoy a lot. You just got a sub from me :) hope to see more krenko plays!
I really wish someone played Merfolks
That's what I'm saying
It would've just been a Thoracle win with Sygg River Cut-Throat as the commander.
Like basically what happened last time. But that's the joke... at least I hope that's the joke 😅
Invite Nikachu next time

Welcome back! We missed you! Great game!
Kings supporting kings!
You guys are amazing!
that might have been the most value goblin sharpshooter i've ever seen in my entire life, fantastic
The way Nate repeatedly taps that goblin sharpshooter...
he was probably saying "pew pew pew pew" too
Goblin Sharpshooter goes brrrrrrrrrrrr
@@xChikyx Like any gobbo worth his salt he said it the proppa way... DAKKA DAKKA DAKKA
Now that was a Tribal fight for the Tribal junkies. I can safely say I was satisfied with that
It's not very often people are able to come back from a hiatus and preserve a high level of content. You guys came back better than ever! You should be proud!
Surprised Adam didn't pack 60 lands in his deck so he could meet the 25% nonland tribal deck requirement to run Liliana tribal
It's a really good thing you weren't in the planning meeting
My first tribal deck was a 60-card Liliana "tribal," and I really stuck to it the best I could! Eventually, I decided to leave five slots open for non-related cards, and it worked out much better lol
You have no idea how happy I am to see y'all back! Still rocking my playmat and I can't wait to possibly get another!
Oh damn i would love a casually competitive playmat
Your new overlay/UI or however its called its sooooo amazing. And welcome back!

Thanks for the content! Great as always!
Where has this content been!? I've been having to suffer thru command zone lol. This is how games should be played. Bravo
Glad to see you back! I think you may have misspoken @ 5:42, citing using Elvish Archdruid's ability when it had summoning sickness, although it was being tapped for mana with Heritage Druid's ability. Very minor
Yeah I meant to say Heritage Druid, I just get lost in the notes sometimes
It's not often you see a Crater hoof for value!
YOURE BACK!!!!! WELCOME. Please sit down and make yourselves comfortable amongst the top tier magic content on here and stay a while :)
Welcome back!!! 😢 I watched you as well as other competitive channels. Good to have you back
So stoked to see a video of yours again! Nice to have you back!
Looking forward to more videos from you again!
I love the new video format, also the deck intro rather than the hand and "power level"
Keep on keeping on.. also i would love to see tribal clerics
I absolutely LOVE the new visuals and overall rebranding of the videos. Looks sooo clean!!
One of my favorite channels! So happy your back!
Welcome back lads!
Thank you!
WELCOME BACK!!!! GRAPHICS AND THUMBNAIL LOOK INCREDIBLE
Thank you so much!
Welcome back! Excellent production/editing btw.

I feel like Adam should have targeted the Sharpshooter for a -1/-1 on the last step of Harald’s saga

Welcome back! Loving the new layout
Welcome back. I'm liking the stack layout.
Kinda wish you guys had more merch like shirts or jackets cause "casually competitive" speaks to my soul

Looking forward to more games from you guys 😄
Great game and glad you guys are back, also I think a really cool game idea would be an all creatures based smack down game
Fantastic overlay! Great video! Very fun to have you back!
Glad you guys are back! Great content as always
It's been a minute! Glad yall are back making vids!
So pumped that you're back!!
Overlay is choice, hand cards with just the names is really dope.
Glad to have you guys back online!
I'm so happy to see you back again. Please don't go anywhere. Aaaand: MTG > WOW
Nice to see you back !!! Very fun game
Very excited that you guys are back. You were my favorite EDH channel.
this is a really neat concept that i like a lot thanks for being back!!!

And Joseph you are looking cute :3

Welcome back! Love to see it
I kinda miss the old overlay, but this one is clean.
Forgot about how i loved your narration

Glad to have y’all back
Glad to see y'all back and at it again! Looking forward to the additional channels and seeing more content during break time 😅
Great game. I keep telling people that Varina, and not Wilhelt, is the best zombie tribal commander out there and now I feel very validated.
Welcome back! I've missed the videos!
Good to see y'all back!
I am so glad you guys are back
THEY ARE BAAAAACK 🔥
Glad yall are back, missed this
We missed making content, feels good to be back!
The new format is slick!
yall being back again is the best thanksgiving gift. love the new editing too!
Glad you enjoy the new style!
No nightstalkers, leeches or scourge block only creatures? cowards!!! Seriously tho love the vid and tribal shenanigans 😋
Good to get gameplay!! Tribals are my favorite.
nice, first interesting cedh game I see in a while
Love the video!! Glad you’re addressing the gatekeepers, they can get annoying lol
I loved your videos, keep them coming.
i'm so happy u guys are back

So glad you guys are back!! Let’s go Lathril!
Great first game back!
This is probably the most clever/unique editing I've seen on any cEDH channel.
Good to see you guys back o/
Heck yeah!! commenting to boost this in the algorithm once again!!!
First rule of casually competitive: Joseph is not allowed to play.
Second rule of casually competitive: Joseph is not allowed to play.

Misread splinter on my part, yep you need something to trigger the untaps
Yep! It's part of why Krenko is so good with it, since Krenko can provide a steady stream of X/1s to get pinged!
I really enjoyed the video! It has the same fast paced commentary but with very detailed explanation similar to playing with power videos which i really enjoy a lot. You just got a sub from me :) hope to see more krenko plays!
Love it! Keep it going PLZ!
Welcome back! I kinda missed y'all. (Also kinda a missed opportunity to put in Yuriko kek)
Welcome back!! So glad!!
I just love goblins. I have muxus at the helm and krenko in the 99.
Just saw that you are back. Amazing!
One for the algorithm.
