When people start sewing there ahould be a warning... fabric shopping and pattern shopping are additional hobbies that come with the loving to sew. Saying that, I regret none of the shopping I have made. Love your vibrant coloured fabric!

When you showed that lovely grey fabric and mentioned work trousers, my first thought was the Taylor trousers from Blackbird Fabrics patterns. Full disclosure: have never used one of their patterns or even made trousers, but I saw them recently, and I thought they looked fantastic, especially on the fuller figured model. They seem to have inked themselves onto my when-I'm-brave-enough-to-try-trousers list. Thought I'd mention them.
They twill with that dress patten would look absolutely beautiful on you.
Hope you get some relief with your health concerns. I know how challenging that can be, especially when it interferes with the things you love.

Don’t know what to say. You cheer everyone else up with your gorgeous fabrics and makes yet have been struggling with chronic illness. If anyone deserves a lovely sewing space it is you. My daughter's birthday is August 19th too. Happy birthday early. The jumpsuit is beautiful and I love the leafy green fabric can't wait to see that make. Love the new fabrics can't wait to see them made up also.

Thank you :-) in relation to the raw feed, I am fortunate to have a place very local called Northampton Raw, their prices are good so I don't need to shop around, before them I used to go to Bulmers which was quite good, they were online.

I absolutely LOVE the pink leopard print fabric too and my local fabric shop sells it BUT I’m so annoyed that I still haven’t bought it. The reason is that they are selling it in the pink colour way and the black and grey, but they’re selling the black and grey at £14.99/m and the pink is £21.99/m 🤷🏼♀️ It’s the same composition and everything! Am I just being petty Becs? Should I just buy the fabric? 😂 I’ve been drooling over it since I first saw Adeles Nova Coat but it really bugs me that they’ve inflated the price so much purely because of the colour 🤦🏼♀️🤣
Well - I would feel the same, especially as in Barrys it was 6.50 per m! I paid 16.00 a M for it... I would be the same as you... but i wanted it in the end so paid for it lol
@@whatbecsews I still have fabric there to make a navy Nova Coat so I’ll see how I feel after I do that. Luckily the shop doesn’t sell online so with a bit of luck they’ll still have it if I can’t find it cheaper elsewhere 🤔 Enjoy your weekend 💞💞

I think Friday pattern company seam allowances are all 3/8 inch or 1cm anyway? Gorgeous Avenir !
it depends on the pattern. Saguaro is 5/8, davenport is 3/8 ... I have to check everytime I make it up lol
