It would be cool if there was a Bayonetta that was raised with the Lumen Sages instead of the Umbra Witches. She would have the right eye instead of the left eye and could have a pact with Fortitudo while wielding a sword like Balder's and having a similar moveset. She could also have an angel masquerade maybe turning her hands into Fortitudo's dragon heads. If we get DLC, hopefully something like that will be included.

Cool concept, honestly. I would have liked for there to have been more time spent fleshing out the Lumen Sages and their culture-rather than them purely acting as a plot device and foil to the Umbra. However…this game’s story is all over the place.

Well, Platinum is well aware of their bad financial situation. They just make sure to say good bye properly to the Bayonetta's fan even if the game sell well or not. That thing alone is the way they show their respect to the fan of this game
And the fact that the finisher is the headpiece that allows him to be controlled and he's trapped under a mountain like in the legend... MMM. That's the good shit right there.

The game looks great huh. But it's so strange to me that angels don't make ONE SINGLE APPEARANCE. As well as Loki, who after the events of Bayonetta 2 seemed to be very attached to Cereza
Iirc from what I saw Angels might be in optional verses, but I do 100% agree them being completely irrelevant to the plot is... odd Robin mentioned that the Homoculi could be a threat even to Paradiso/Inferno if they got too strong iirc, so the Angels not being proactive in stopping something that threatens em (even if humanity is damned) is strange. Even if it's just to save their own skin they seem like the sort who'd be quick to try and push down any threat that pops up
@@OriginalGameteer Well we were able to see a Kraken at first which is from Inferno and doesn't seem to be contracted to anyone. For all we know, Paradiso might be dealing with the same stuff and is being attacked by the Alphaverse.

It definitely makes sense not to have epilogue verses. I mean, no watch, on the way to Inferno with Luka - and Viola needs her training, so she can't do the continuation verse at the end. Edit: There is an epilogue. It's just after Dark Bayo.

It kind of breaks the lore in a way. Because every other cutscene we've been shown from this and other games is that Cereza and the rest of the Umbra Clan can still be mortally wounded by physical attacks.
