Very happy you made these available for purchase, definitely will be picking one of these up.
One thing for anyone doing this now or in the future is that the adapter fits perfect and works amazingly with the quad lock. However, unless you don’t mind struggling a little as it’s a tight fit you may want to upgrade from the string to a threaded rod. Just add a washer and hex nut to the end and pull up that way. It’s super easy and avoids any struggle or snapping of the string like me.

Lmfaooooo you made it look waaayyyy too easy. I just did this install. That cable should be air craft quality. Very snug fit. Ended up using 3/8 socket extensions to push it up through the bottom. This video should be in cartoon lol
You say in the video that this is permanent. Seems like you could punch it out if you had to, but is there any downside to this being permanently placed? Tube or bearing corrosion, service interference, etc.? Don't know enough about this steering tube to know if this should be a concern ...
@@Dynarace you could push it out from the top with a long screw driver if you want, but it will stay in place even if a stem mount is not installed. It’s plastic so no corrosion and it doesn’t interfere or contact any bearings.
Hi, great product. Can we use a head lift stand with this adapter inserted in the tube?
@@R1Ammar sure can! I use a pitbull headlight with mine but there is plenty of room for any brand.

I'm interesting in buying the stem mount adapter for a Panigale V4. A couple of questions, can you still use a headlift front stand if the stem mount adapter is installed? Also is the supplied string strong enough to pull the stem mount adapter up to the top of the fork stem without the issue of breaking/snapping the string?
Hi, yes to both. I use a pitbull headlight stand with no issues. Also the string is plenty strong, just make sure to make a big knot on it so it doesn’t pull through the install tool.

Hi RDG, I recently bought your installation kit for my Panigale V2 Bayliss and now the adaptor is stuck midway. Please suggest how to pull it up, as the string is not able to pull the adaptor anymore. Your help is much appreciated
Interesting, what year is your bike? First make sure you’re tieing a really big knot on the string so that it doesn’t pull through install tool. If that doesn’t work, you can push the adaptor back out from the top using a long screw driver or similar, and when it’s out you can lightly squeeze the adaptor in your hands so the gap on the side closes a little bit. This should make it easier to reinstall.

Had the same issue, but mine broke while getting it out, will order a new one in a day or two, would be a good idea to add the tip with squeezing it first to the item description, looking foreward to getting it mounted as soon as the new one arrives ^^@@reddoggarage

What stops the adaptor slipping back down the tube?.TIA
It's designed to keep positive pressure on the inside of the steer tube.

Does the setup works for 848 / 1098's ?
Unfortunately not since the 848/1098 doesn’t have a center hole in the top cap like the panigale does.

My adapter didn’t come with the string or cap. What can I get to use for the cap from a Home Depot or Lowe’s?
You must’ve ordered before I started including the install kit. You could use a 3/8” washer from the hardware store tied to a string as well.

This works great! I see some people using a Home Depot toggle bolt. This is a much better solution.
Would this work on a Super Sport 950s?
No sorry. There has to be a hole in the top of the steer cap which the supersport doesn’t have

It won’t because the 1098 doesn’t have a hole in the top cap like the panigale does.

If that is not worth the price to you, then you put in the time yourself to figure out how to make a model for it. Why should someone give the blueprints away for free for something they spent time and effort developing. How about you show up to work for free out of the kindness of your heart? I have not tested it, but based on the ram mount specs it sure looks like it will. Inner hole is .55” diameter.
Be carful do not do it while the bike is hot will not fit , it will go in but will always get stuck mid way and no matter how hard you pull or push it won’t go anywhere . Let the bike cool down first 🫠
