Everything the players have asked for is reasonable. The NRL/media are doing everything they can to distract from that. If you don’t support the players then just admit you don’t understand what they’re talking about

At the end of the day remember Clint is only a mouthpiece for the decisions ultimately made by the players so if the players decide to boycott the dally m’s it’s their decision

I don't really care about those NRL 360 crybabies like Crawley, Hooper, Ready, Buzz and Tallis saying the players are being childish, no they're not and I'm firmly in the players corner. If I want to hear from my favourite players I can still message them on social media there's no player ban on those forums. Those media guys are just jealous because they have no content and dumb interviews and I'm all for that, they don't deserve anything from the players. The media doesn't speak for me as a league fan.

I'm interested why the NRL aren't forth coming with the issues of giving the players what they asking for. I hear alot about how unfair the RLPA have been but I'm at a lost why the NRL won't give them what they're asking for. What's the NRLs problem with the points?

NRL should be 17 weeks, like the NFL. Play each other once plus the bye. Then finals footy. Plenty of energy then for Test Matches. Fewer games=bigger crowds because fans only get 7-8 chances to watch their team play at home.

When players are interviewed they pretty much say the same things “had a good week at training, get the mistakes out of the game, defence, enjoy the win, can’t give away penalties, they’re a good side” most of the interviews they’re asking players about the other players on the team? I think the media are just upset because it really shows that there’s no use for that many reporters when you can ask the coaches the same questions.
It's funny how these ex players who are now working for the media are calling out the players and the association to give it up.

Tallis is the worst I've seen so far. He was part of the leadership team way back when they were fighting for the players, gets asked what they were fighting for, and the man doesnt remember, doesnt care..

Sounds like there’s 2 parties fighting for inside the RLPA the genuine reasons and then the Polynesians who want to try hold the game at ransom. Australia doesn’t pay English players to play in tri nations why should Australia pay smaller pacific nations equal wage when they don’t even have there own league similar to the super league. It’s not personal it’s business.

I see a lot of people are for the players, what exactly are the players after, serious question, can anyone actually answer the question? I've seen Newton, Cherry Evans and the like talking about this, but they NEVER say what ANY of the issues are.

None of the players would know what was going on. That's why the media ban happened cos they didn't want the players to look stupid. I'm a Knights fan but this is about Clint self importance. He said he'd step down if it meant a deal would get done. He hasn't stepped down yet.

Vlandeys literally said to remove Clint and Abdo and then the talks would be done in 48 hrs (DCE concurred with this), yet Clint reneged because he isn't willing to move away and only want it done his way (with an intermediary who will know nothing about the NRL operation)
Then what? Bring in a broadcaster and NRL lackey to head the rlpa? its all about checks and balances and newton and the rlpa are keeping the nrl accountable otherwise all the power tips over to the nrl. Abdo and vlandys are nothing more than vampire capitalists.
I don't know but it's Newton and Abdo at loggerheads. Take em both out of the room to take at least some emotion out of it and it would be done in 3 hours. Clint Newton grandstanding is what's getting in the way. They could get it done easily. Just need players to be informed and few of them are. Also I don't see a big punishment for a viewer staying out of the dressing room or not hearing from players or any of that. I actually couldn't give a cracker but when the media companies pay their wages and they decide they're in breach of contract and not going to get paid they'll come to the table real fast.
@@claytonjames1558 How can anything get done when the NRL has refused to negotiate? They made 100 changes to the last discussion paper, said take it or leave it, and stopped all conversation. What are the RLPA supposed to do? Bend over and take it?
These players have suffered so much already, and something has to be done. They sacrifice so much for all Australians. Without them and Rugby League, Australia would just suffer so much.
Footballers are crucial in making the world a better place.
