The intro is Priceless. Von Miller is big but who is coming on the opposite side?. As great as Allen is I always feel like something is missing with the Bills but this team has come a long way...my hometown...Go Bills

Sometimes the quality of the opposite side isn't what matters. Its what comes with the entire D-line on those pass rush pressure downs. I like the Titans approach as they pressured very well with their front 4 (Simmons, Denico Autry, Landry). Teams had to watch out for Landry at the edge but if they managed to slow him down, Simmons or Autry were crashing at the interior to try finish the job. The Washington D-line were trying something similar two years ago but much of their depth has left. I think the Bills can get those interior pressures with Ed Oliver, Tim Settle and returning Jordan Philipps if he's healthy.

Love my Bills, but that number one ranking was somewhat misleading. The fish and Jets twice, Houston's 3rd stringer, the Commies, the Panthers, the Falcons, Jacksonville, a Big Ben who should have retired two years before he did, Pat Mahomes during that early season slump, Indy, and that weather game v the Pats. I love them and I respect the fact that you can only play the teams on your schedule, but when that defense took on top flight talent such as Brady and the Bucs or Mahomes and the Chiefs that number one ranking proved to be very misleading. They are a good team and if they stay healthy and Tre gets back to anything near what he was before injury then they may actually get over the top and win that silver trophy. However, last year they may have been a number one defense on paper, but in reality they were far from it.

Same deal with the Pats for the last 2 seasons having an easier schedule. Darth Hoodie was able to jump on easier match ups and game plan them. So his defense was looking great based on that. But when the Pats faced much better offenses that had the talent, the defense struggled.

The local fox sports radio channel did a great segment on this, after the Cheifs & Bills game.

The bills recognize that they need to improve their pass rush......the past 3 years all high picks on defensive linemen and signing Von Miller

Bills did do changes to improve their pass rush.

Why does everyone unanimously consider Von Miller a great signing? Speed rushers tend to hit the age well very abruptly. We had a guy here in Minnesota named Jared Allen who was tearing up the league one moment, the next moment he was washed up and out of the league.

Keeping fresh bodies on the D line is pivotal in the NFL, and the bill’s are definitely leading the charge.
