@@2Takki Things are explained at the end of Royal Flush. And if you watch Citizen Smith the inspiration for Royal Flush is there in the episode The Party's Over. The Idea Rodney would come a cropper at the hands of the idle rich, Del knew this and was just looking for an earner.
It's amazing how this show can manage to move effortlessly between the farcical, the sociopolitical and remain so accessible. Last episode deals with something as unlikely as bumping into an axe murderer, yet just a few issues before dealt with the reality of a more likely spectre of the times by addressing the horror of nuclear war in a funny, yet sensitive way. This episode deals with the very British issue of class, with the aspirational underclass being looked down upon by the wealthy who seek to exploit their supposed 'stupidity' showing that the man on the street can prevail against their 'betters' who have education rather than wisdom. The painting, stolen from the elite, is without value as it can only be returned to its rightful owner, therefore like all things in life, the planet even, only a temporary illusion of wealth and property before becoming as lost as any yesterday.
Proof of Karma. Not only did Del 'bidding' at the auction cost Miranda an extra 400 pounds, but she also had to incur the cost of a closed shop and the price of having her entire shop and stock fumigated thanks to the spread of woodworm from the chest. Del boy has a reputation for being dodgy but decent, while Mirandas loss of reputation will be more severe in her line of work. It shows that greed is more endemic in the wealthy.
It was as if she was in Del's place she saw an opportunity to make a buck she planed and schemed to get the painting and she got screwed in the end but I do think she was more evil then Del would have been
Hi guys
Thanks for watching
beware of woodworms
Rodney thought the old slap on the bum would work 😂
The posh tart fell for it so why not
I love how Del uses Rodney having 2 GCE’s for literally everything 😂
Ya that's funny
"...Maybe they were antique banana boxes!" 🍌🤣
He drinks from a saucer to cool the tea down my old grandad used to do the same if you was wondering
My Mother used to do the same thing
She would also touch us with the spoon she stirred her tea with and ask if it was hot
Great reaction Dan 😂. Funny when Del asks Grandad as anyone called for me then Grandad says yeah some posh tart lol 😂
"He's a card" 🤣🤣
@@newuk26 🤣🤣
Classic English comedy. They never made a bad episode!
I haven't seen them all yet

If Del wanted to get rid of the painting, he'd have sold it, thrown it away or burned it.
I think selling it would have been too risky
and granddad had some sentimental attachment to it
Did he leave that tenner 🤣 🤣 🤣
here we don't call it a tenner we call it a Dix
Dix is french for ten
Ruby Murry - curry.
Great episode and enjoyed the reaction also. Seemed like you enjoyed that one 👍🏼👍🏼
I like when Grandad laughed at Dels card
he doesn't cut lose like that to often
