Been wanting to do something like this for a while now, ive tried a few times but i never liked the end result, but thanks to this i might just be able to pull off something spectacular, definitely deserve a sub!
You mean the main layers of the composition pretty much at the beginning? If so, you have to use the "pen-tool" and click your way around the sections of the image you want to seperate... after that you right click and choose "make selection". Then the only thing you have to do is click the little mask icon on the bottom right (having your layer selected) and that will take away the rest :-) With adjustmentlayers only applied to that single layer you can control colors, hue/saturation-values etc. Hope that helped \m/
Amazing visual and dude you have one really awesome taste of music \m/ Great remix maybe one day I can learn from you how to make these ;-) Greez n cheers
Make sure that you are working on a duplicate layer of the original image! Sometimes it can also help to use a nightsky/nightcity-image ontop with the same masks to create a reflection effect! Dont worry if you masked the wrong layer, simply alt-left-klick your mask-layer there you see the mask only and copy the whole thing and paste it into the layer-mask of the original city-image (create a mask, also alt-left-klick and paste)... also make sure to have that layer ontop of your previous ones else it wont show up either! Hope this helped, if not feel free to send me your psd I will take a look at it ;-)
@@therealcyberpunk8823 thanks for the advice, i was stuck at that point with the pen tool not working well to mask so i just used the brush and went over the places where i wanted them to mask. Is that as well a good method ?
@@Weerton_ko yes sure, how ever you feel more compfortable! sometimes using a slightly soft brush for the edges around the windows even makes it have a little "bloomish" effect ;-)
Thanks for your feedback, will consider that in the upcomming videos! PS if it helps turn on the subtitles (they are not always correct since they are auto-generated but they will help for sure!)

Could you please go into more detail on how to make three separate layers and color them out of the picture?

@@therealcyberpunk8823 thank you! 🙏
ruclips.net/video/3EYyUFL0gTk/видео.html this was my finished result. I remixed aerials and used the image as the background for the audio visualizer.
Amazing visual and dude you have one really awesome taste of music \m/ Great remix maybe one day I can learn from you how to make these ;-) Greez n cheers
when i mask the windows and the lights i have, they dont show their original colors, am i doing something wrong?

the background music is bothering me a lot , im not able to concentrate on what you are saying

You can't fool me. You came from ''somewhere in time'' to create this piece of art.
