- What's this?? A new upload to this channel??
It's likely you found me through my animation work, but now that that's hosted elsewhere, I'm hoping to start putting other art stuff on this channel. Feel free to stick around if that's something you'd like to see but no hard feelings if you're not interested! Thanks for checking it out!
This is my first timelapse showing a process for making concept art like this in Photoshop. Enjoy!

Hey all! Many/most of you current subscribers were likely here for my MFM animations (SSDGM!) but now that those are on the Exactly Right Media RUclips Channel, I thought it'd be fun to start uploading to this one again, perhaps with some process videos for the other digital art I've been making recently. If those are something you'd enjoy seeing, great! If you were here for animations and these aren't your thing, no worries whatsoever! Thanks for being here either way, much love to you all.
The amount of realisation about how to speed up my own work I just had felt like a borderline spiritual awakening. Thank you, the art is dope
Its insane how long this probably took to make but what really blows my mind is that it if it was in an anime movie it could be on the screen for only a split second, would be cool to get this and frame it knowing the full story behind it, its dope af!
Mind blowing! Thank you for sharing the process , i learned alot! 🔥🔥🔥
This is incredible!! You continue to impress! Great work!!
Thank you so much!
This was actually fun to watch... thank you!
Love the minimalist approach to this! Also, although such a megacity with enormous archologies would certainly be a polluted environment, it looks somehow beautiful and serene. Nicely done!
Hmm..maybe in this future they have eliminated the problem of pollution.
You have some cool window/city detail brushes🎉 Love it!
That Landscape Can Brought My Mind To Feel A Future And With The Soundtrack That Is Very Suitable With The Landscape. I hope Like that again Bro.Yeah Like In Future Cyberpunk 😅
This was fascinating! Very interesting to watch!
Very cool!
It looks so good 😮 Awesome work!
Hello. I just came across your process video and was so impressed by how much work you put into such a complicated scene. I also learned some techniques by closely observing your process, and I wanted to say thank you for sharing your process (+ showing how you manage to organize your layers, I was struggling with how to do it for a really long time). And I wonder if you are planning to release any more process video like this? I'm eager to see what you're creating in the future.
@@ThuyNguyen-tx4ct Hey thanks for the comment and thanks for asking! I really do need to get back to recording as I work, I would like to put out more of these. I should be doing some more personal stuff soon, will try to do some more process videos, I appreciate the interest!
Greater work. Thank for sharing your experience and pipeline
this is amazing
Awesome 🤩
This has totally inspired me to do some of my own cyberpunk art! I grabbed a whole bunch of the shape tools you suggested in other comments :) I was wondering what you used for the lit up areas/windows on the megablock towers?
That's great to hear! For the windows, I believe I mostly pulled photos from free sites like Pexels or Unsplash of city buildings at night, dropped them in wherever I might want windows, set the layer to (I think) color dodge, masked it all out and then painted the windows back in just in the spots where I wanted them. Hope that's helpful! Happy to elaborate further
@@NickTerryArt Ahhhh! I thought that might be the case! I grabbed the Skyscraper pack from photobash so I can use the windows from that :)
This is amazing man! great artwork. I have a question: ¿Where you got the custom shapes? they look so cool too
@@andresaranda9408 Thank you! I used custom shapes from a pack I got from a kit by Hardy Fowler. This whole pack is basically a step-by-step of a lot of the techniques I used in this piece. www.digitalpaintingstudio.com/Cyber%20Punk%20City
Nice one
reminds me of simon stalenhags electric state
This is beautiful, can I try following along this timelapse?
Please feel free! I hope it's helpful, even sped up as much as it is!
gotta find city assets like the ones you used...
Hi Nick, loved this.. feels like a hell of a journey ahead.. Abut to lose my leg after a motorbike accident, so have the rest of my life to play around..
Quick question.. what brush did you use to make the cables that hung from the towers…?
Thanks for video though, spectacular to watch..
Hello! I believe for the large cables on the two biggest buildings it was a basic round brush, maybe some variations of sizes to give different widths to the wires and cables. I may have also used some elements from photobash.co in there somewhere. I have a pack I purchased of various hanging wires that I've used in the past. Hope that's helpful and best of luck with your recovery!
what brush is that?
Hi, what custom shapes are you using?
Hi! Sorry, just saw this, RUclips stopped sending me comment notifications for whatever reason! In case you're still curious, I used custom shapes from a pack I got from a kit by Hardy Fowler. This whole pack is basically a step-by-step of a lot of the techniques I used in this piece. I'll link it here: www.digitalpaintingstudio.com/Cyber%20Punk%20City
Where did you get that shape pack?

did you just do that with your mouse???
... No, he's using either a graphics tablet or pen tablet with his computer to draw.
As @kaiwardinofficial9686 correctly guessed, I used a pen tablet :)
@@NickTerryArt i had forgotten about this comment lmaoo, but thanks my fellow kaiwardinofficial !!
