What I notice is they bring the key higher to make the song sound more sugary and sentimental, (the original key is F minor but here its C major, most things in C major IMO sounds super sappy and saccharine), as well as to give the excuse to make the voices sound really shrill and kind of whiny, the original song in the original key is much more powerful and soulful.

I know!!! I liked Twilight okay but I thought it could have been SO much better. I mean the plot of the book was PERFECT for a movie and I felt that they lost the flow of it by adding in their own scenes and cutting important "bonding" scenes out. It ended up choppy. Plus they left out Bella's perspective and so you never got to see why she fell in love with him. So on one side I'm glad they got a new director but not happy that he's a guy. I'm sure any director would "promise" to do a good job.

Hugh Grant is one of my favorite actors. Love his cool sarcasm and lovely speaking. Never tired of this movie. The boy is so cute.
The two seconds of him "almost" volunteering at the soup kitchen are the favorite part of the movie for me.
