- This is a tutorial on how to sculpt a miniature pink ombré layered cake.
Emphasis on how to make proper icing as well.
AND BONUS! Me rambling on top of the whole thing.
Not sure that's a bonus or malus though... haha!

What an awesome video! I can sympathize about the texturing. For me making roses are very monotonous. I love your voice, it sounds just like I imagined it would.

+KARI BLEAM Icing takes time, so be patient stirring and poking. If it's too thick, then yes, more liquid clay. Those cutters are Kemper cutters, I got them online, but don't remember where.

Hi! I adore this cake. I'm going to make it a project. Question, where do you get those miniature cake stands and saucers for the presentation?
If I bake the cake before adding icing, would I bake it again after to harden icing and rose? Would that not over bake or harm the cake itself? Can't wait to try this out. Thanks for the tutorial
you can bake polymer clay several times

+hooiyin it's a kemper cutter (5mm) but I don't recall where I got it. Most polymer clay craft stores have it. I plan to make a video about my favorite tools.

What do you mean by Fimo liquids? In your supply list you have acrylic paint, you didn't add paint to the clay mix , right? Thank you 😊
it's the name of the product "fimo liquid", basically a liquid polymer clay.
Blood is also red , it may be a good choice when I have ran out of red colourXDD

When you cut the slices, the layers are perfectly intact. There's no smearing or smudging. I'm using an X-acto knife that's brand new and sharp, but I have smearing :-(
How can I prevent that?
+Cavin Urquhart I prefer using blades. I never use exacto knifes, so can't really say how to use those best.
