I love Ren, but I really love Ren when he’s with The Big Push band. I truly hope that he is able to get his health in order so he can come back to the UK. I hope the band can get back together. They are just magical. As an American, I have officially put it on my bucket list to come to the UK and walk into a side street and see The Big Push playing music.
Love that! I reckon that will happen! And I reckon Ren will recover and they will play together again at some point!
On my bucket list, too. I visited the UK long ago as a backpacker and loved every minute of it! 🤠 Brighton will be my first stop. Fish and chips with mushy peas will be my first meal...🐟
I love gorrans voice so much, and ren is always a beast on the bass. Romain gives the guitar a voice of its own and Glen keeps the beat. Perfection 😊💜💜

You said it! I completely agree. And honestly, Glenn Chambers is a machine and needs more credit for all the dropped notes he covers and picks up.
I think of them as the best band the world never knew (when they were together).

I saw several of your Ren reactions and enjoy that you're viewing Ren/The Big Push's music from the vantage point of a musician. I'm an old musician (playing since the 1960's), and have been "resuscitated" out of my musical stupor by Ren and the people reacting to him. It gives me a great sense of hope that the chokehold of the music industry will be broken. I wish you well in your own musical endeavors! Subbed! 🤠

End of the day and everybody was a tad over excited . . .🤪 "Watch Out" is an original song. Pretty fine live, but the official video is dear to my heart. Something lighter? "Bongo Bong (Manu Chao cover)" Or "Sweet Little Lady", either live or acoustic.

@@CosmicVagabondPixie I get what you're saying. But pain and suffering are essential, I think. For growth and for learning. If we weren't uncomfortable, we would never move. Of course we don't wanna be overwhelmed with that. There are some very dark places it is very difficult to climb out of, but with that being said, it's also true that; the comfort zone is where dreams go to die. In any situation,I always try to treat everything good or bad, as one of 2 things; a lesson or a blessing. Aint always easy to do that, but I've found constantly asking; what can I learn from this, however big or small the lesson may be. I've found that is the best way to approach life.
@@CosmicVagabondPixie I believe we are spiritual beings, that come here to learn, to grow and to return home. Maybe time and time again. Further more I have a feeling that it's possible we even choose to come here to have this particular experience. Now that may be a dilusion on my part, but even if it is, I find that it is a fortunate one. Reframing my life in that way, was a game changer. Although of course, the struggle and pain are still very real. And I don't always remember to think that way. But overall, it allows me to make progress.
@@IzzyIzenstain Aww Thank YOU for your beautiful words & your time i truly appreciate what ya are sayin but i am in a very bad place tho at this moment in my life which i don't really want to get into in public all i can say bout all my issues & struggles atm is i am in severe physical pain every single day all day **KnockOnWood** only time i don't feel it is when i am asleep & that is usually only 4 hours a day but that is also the reason i say **Music** is **Magic** cuz i realized when i am listening to something i really love it takes me out of my body i am no longer there time & space have disappeared surroundings completely gone & i am just there somewhere else some unknown realm/dimension where there is no fkn pain & in those moments it is pure **Bliss** until the song is over & i am snapped back to this reality blah anyway enuff blabbin just really wanted to Thank YOU very much for taking the time for me it means a lot you are a kind being
Izzy, I don't know where you are but you must see a lot of buskers on the street. I can't think of a better way to learn and pay your dues. These guy's busked and made music for 4 years together before Ren had to go to Canada for treatment.
Yeah, I see them about. Rare you see something above average though. But not everyone can be great and you gotta start somewhere ain't ya. Even greatness doesn't usually start great either. It's a good way to pay your dues an learn, you're right.
