I don't know why it took me so long to get into Invincible, it's become one of my favorite comic book runs that I've read. Thanks for these videos Rob, they've been great :)
No matter what you say, Rob. No matter how many times you say, "Look at the results", the ends will never justify the means. People aren't a product, we don't simply become better and then it's all skittles and rainbows. Unless an individual, and then society as a whole, goes through the process of change, due to their own decisions made of their own volitions, however painful and difficult that change may be, nothing has truly been accomplished. Any end that attempts to bypass that will not only fail, it will set-back the development of a person, community, or society, even further. Rex in Invincible didn't get that, you don't seem to get that, but life isn't about a destination, or where we end up. It's about living; the process, the journey, in getting there. If we don't learn along the way, if it doesn't become hardwired into our brains through our experiences, we WILL regress and fail, again, and again, and again.
Utilitarians look at humans as numbers on a finance sheet. How much does one consume? How much does one produce? What is the cost over a lifetime? Could those costs be recuperated by reducing consumption and forcing productivity? Would that scenario also be beneficial by reducing ones lifetime, and therefore cost? It’s sickening to see how many people have attempted to justify the motives of these characters, using the same excuse of “it’s for the greater good” that has been spouted ad nauseam by Autocrats and Tyrants for all of recorded history.
Dollars to donuts, this is THE best volume of invincible. Huge plot twists, very emotional moments, lots of character building, and anticipation to read the next chapter. Its perfect.

HOLLLLYYYY that moment with Mark torn in half legit had me reeling right after he crushes the kids neck with no hesitation??? Those last few issues about to be some BANGERS
I'm actually glad this happened the way it did. Atom Eve needed to unlock her Dark Phoenix persona. She was effing around before and needed to realize this was real sh!7. Now, I believe, it's on.
Being a parent though is.......sometimes these comics give me reminders and realisations. Then there's your storytelling Rob, the analogies and indoctrination of real life is so good.
There was a Atom Eve series that detailed why her powers aren't as effective as they could be and that fully explains why she was able to do what she did for her and Mark and the circumstances required for it.
Lets not forget that Rex killed a bunch of people who he thought wouldnt agree with him BEFORE they even knew what he was doing or even having the chance to show any sort of opposition, punishment before the crvime is a slippery slope
Not a Slippery Slope at all. He committed random acts of Genocide to the Superhero's , before introducing his plan. He assaulted Eve, Ripping her leg off while she was still with child. He has a lot to answer for regardless of his "Good ideas" .
14:36 the "evidence" against Rex is how he started!! He killed a lot of heroes that "could" possible get into his way. He tried to kill Mark and Eve (and their unborn child)
Wow imagine the rage Mark would’ve felt if he gave up the other more prosperous world, only to come back and watch his daughter die. Would’ve liked to see his rage after that moment but happy it didn’t go that way also.
What hope is there for mark even coming close to beating Thragg? He just got ripped in half whilst being enraged. I can't wait for the next one. I read the invincible run years ago but never finished so am hyped. ☮️
8:15 to be fair that guy was an alien there are creatures on our own planet that when the father dies the children are often killed off when the new mate comes in
10:48 welp sucks to be Mark. Moral of the story kids. What happened to you isn't your fault, but your healing is your responsibility. If Mark actually took some time to acknowledge what happened, seek help in council and loved ones, this could have been handled far differently. Instead he avoid and buried the hurt. And here he is.
Side note , for some reason I suspected you were a father, all I can say is rob , you’d seem like an amazing dad and if the time doe’s come for you , your children will be lucky to have an awesome guy to call dad. Keep up the great work ! Your a legend! Boom!!!!
One thing l do wish is that the author had made chapters showing how exactly Robot made changes to earth because either seems as if he just skimmed over it and said Robot's smart enough and called it a day. Anything thing I wish we saw is the perspectives and thoughts of the heroes who sided with or were against Robot after his order 66
It's worth noting that there's a time frame for which Atom Eve can do her get of jail free card heal everyone to full HP. She actually explicitly says she was too late to save Oliver I think and it seems that it's a just slightly before moment of death that her imba resurrect proccs. Also worth noting is that she kind of doesn't know the extent of her powers or how to use them that effectively. That being said, hasn't Mark died like 5 times during the series only to be saved by the fact that this is his series?? Lol. While I don't agree with a lot of Robert Kirkmans plot choices, I like the fact that he does show Mark as a flawed and not always perfect. Also the last story arc of this series definitely redeems him (Kirkman). Can't wait to hear the Rob narration of the next few arcs!!
Lmao Eve really said screw Oliver. That’s both funny and maddening. Ofc the argument can be made he betrayed them but it seems more he betrayed everyone outside his family. If Thragg said he would kill Eve, Terra, Debbie etc at any time before or sensed he would it’d be a huge chance that he would immediately flip sides. I feel maybe Oliver could’ve been saved by Eve because of Viltrumite physiology. While left there for long enough he obviously died but if the fight happened over the span of 10-15 mins I feel like his smart atoms could’ve kept him at least salvageable if he could get immediate care within time
The Audio to this series you've done on their own make it seem like the creators just reeeeeeeally disliked the singer from Queen! Every now and again when you call Thragg, Freddie Mercury it just makes me chuckle.

The best part of this is that Mark's killing Thragg's son was entirely foretold. He had foresaken thousands if not millions of lives in another timeline just to see his daughter again. If one life at his hands was all it took to see her this time, he'd barely even consider it.
At the end when Eve brought them back, they were naked. She made them outfits again with her usual use of her abilities afterwards while they were trying to figure out what happened. Small correction.

Don't quite understand what rob means when he says " I don't know how i feel about this." in relation to eve's healing as this was set as a precedent prior especially after their fight with conquest.

Maybe not short term, but long term, those cracks in Rex's plan may begin to show, to grow and to crumble the structure. Will he let go of the throne as it's weight threaten to collapse all that he built, or will he fall with everything else?
I’ve been keeping up with each episode on your page for a while now and I notice that you’re the only one who does that thank you 😊. I love invincible💙💛
Eve's daughter said( Boo ya!) Lol . Some where cyborg from Teen Titans is giving the slow head nod 💪
Perfect opportunity to leave it on a cliffhanger, but didn't do it this time, and for this we thank you!
I remember seeing this when it came out The being a hero is bullshit was such a hard hitting panel. Such a iconic moment in my opinion for Mark cant wait to see yall all enjoy the rest of the story yall are in a for a treat!
Man... only two more Invincible videos to go? that bums me out, that's become one of my favorite things to look forward to on Sundays though!
Love how Eve heals her and mark but just gives a middle finger to Oliver love to see it
Dam bro I did not think of it like that so messed up 😂😂 she’s only beyond omega level for her immediate family
he was already dead, read the comic and you would have know that eve have that explanation
@@novek3046 so I would have never guessed reading the comic explains the comic you are so smart like wow just wow
She doesn´t, why Oliver dies is a spelled-out plot point.
@@Drolomath66 obviously smarter than you lmao
Damn I can't believe we only have 2 more videos left for Invincible, I can't wait to see how the show decides to adapt a lot of this. I don't know why it took me so long to get into Invincible, it's become one of my favorite comic book runs that I've read. Thanks for these videos Rob, they've been great :)
Eve should’ve waited for mark like aquamans dad waited for his girl 😂
she didnt even wait 10 years she was like aight its been 5 i want new dick thats a hoe
@@ganjatheninja are u both stupid?
Mark's physique is my goal!!!
Facts 💯!
Yeah mine too !
Get ready for a TON of crossfit and cardio.
Gotta get that "ripped" bod
Winstrol.
Man! That fight between mark and thragg was intense! When that gets animated. That scene is gonna be fire
Man, this was one of the best series I've ever read. Maybe we can get a prequel or something of a sequel.
Dollars to donuts, this is THE best volume of invincible. Huge plot twists, very emotional moments, lots of character building, and anticipation to read the next chapter. Its perfect.
i'm so happy you are doing these, i was late to the party so i don't feel like reading a million books but these vids helped so much, can't wait to see the final ones
i LOVE how this series makes me think about this stuff.
This is one of the best channels and the breakdowns are amazing - AM I HEARING THIS RIGHT - the philosophes in this story - 2 heroes that believe the world needs to be better and believes that superheroes are the way but one superhero thinks superheroes should take the civilization as a whole to a better future and the other believes it should be done on a one-on-one one situation at a time - almost like Micro/Macro management.
this comic just keeps getting more exciting.
Thank u for thiss
The only thing that I got from this is that Rob is waiting for an authoritarian that he likes
He has a lot to answer for regardless of his "Good ideas" .
bro this comic is so fudging hard such a breath of fresh air with the story writing and the take on human values wish it didnt end but happy it did
Rob this video is out of the invincible playlist Just wanted to give you a heads up LOVE THE CONTENT ❤️
didn't nolan once say rage makes him irrational and a worse fighter. look where that got him time and time again
@@likky1 that doesn't apply to mark since he's got some human blood
@@KaideThe8 what does human blood have to do with anger making people a worse fighter?
I know you said you don't know how you feel about Eve bringing them back but she did that same thing in the fight against Conquest.
Boom!!!!
This is a good story can’t wait tell the next part of it keep up the work
Man, Atom Eve is definitely an S tier character
Man there is only a couple left that's going to suck I've enjoyed my Sunday invincible vids with my coffee what a great series
I am so surprised he didn’t leave us on a cliffhanger.
While left there for long enough he obviously died but if the fight happened over the span of 10-15 mins I feel like his smart atoms could’ve kept him at least salvageable if he could get immediate care within time
3:19 Nolands face is such a fucking meme.
Like "What do ya want me to say?"
Seeing Mark say “Being a hero is bullshit” before popping a dudes head off like a bottle cap wasn’t something I expected, but goddamn was that cool.
The Audio to this series you've done on their own make it seem like the creators just reeeeeeeally disliked the singer from Queen!
Every now and again when you call Thragg, Freddie Mercury it just makes me chuckle.
“I always felt the X-Men, in a subtle way, often touched upon the subject of racism and inequality''
-Stan The Man Lee
Loving these videos Rob thanks a lot🙏🏾
Sneak attack on the way...nice. I hope they heal marks brother if they can and I guess marks son is one of the only pure blood vilts left who's royal. I hope zandel dose something epic
Marks son isn't pure, he's quarter human
mark jr is the purest of the new generation his potential is probably the highest.
@@jayclearmen411 exactly
@@worldender9388 as I said, he's the purest who's royal and if he gets with one of Freddy Mercury's kids then they will be even better
@@k.tucker2011 thraggs kids are all only half viltrumite. He could get with any of the other half viltrumite kids on earth and it'd all be the same result
Rob you did us all a disservice not explaining Atom-Eve's hidden new power
As a dad that lives 8 hours away from my daughter for close to 5 years it is brutal. I only get to see her for a month during the summer and on holidays. It hurts because she learned to ride a bike without me. 😕
Gotta love how a literal rapist who named her kid after the person she viciously abused gets 0 comeuppance
i hate her so much 😡
RIP William “Thunderbolt Ross” Hurt (1950-2022). 2022 hasn’t been kind on the world’s legends.
on Board with everything your saying Rob
The best part of this is that Mark's killing Thragg's son was entirely foretold. He had foresaken thousands if not millions of lives in another timeline just to see his daughter again. If one life at his hands was all it took to see her this time, he'd barely even consider it.
Good morning Rob! Thanks for another awesome video
14:30 Lmao clearly Mark read The Watchmen 🤣
At the end when Eve brought them back, they were naked. She made them outfits again with her usual use of her abilities afterwards while they were trying to figure out what happened. Small correction.
Beyond omega level Starbreaker, Rob. I know you can do it
Brah yes! My favourite of your series man!!!
22:09 Neat, can she heal Trauma as well because good Lord that little baby needs it!!! 😂😂😂
Also I couldn't help but notice you didn't heal the Oliver laying 3ft away from you and the other almost dead person...neat trick tho
Don't quite understand what rob means when he says " I don't know how i feel about this." in relation to eve's healing as this was set as a precedent prior especially after their fight with conquest.
He said that cause it's such a plot convenience. like why have mark ripped in half and eve mouth smashed if shes going to just wave them back to normal even with new clothes, also if she was that power why not do that from the beginning when your family is in danger.
@@lycanenferno5109 I could be 100% percent wrong but if I had that kind of power a I would have a set limit and morals. She's basically a God right? So as her first Human life she would probably try to live as normal a humanly possible and later on in her life her morales will change as life passes by her ?
@@RiskyGamle I mean sure we have human morals but when you’re a mother and your (husband) and daughter are in trouble. In most cases the gloves come off. Even before mark killed the son terra broke her leg kicking tragg, I’m sure that alone would have made her use her powers more
@@lycanenferno5109 I haven't read the comic since this is basically my source but yes as I saw on this episode yeah gloves completely off but we can't completely rid the though of what is she or perhaps "God"(Writer) set down a universe rule that she can't break because of plot
Pure speculation of my part but I try not to think much of it since it does ruin the magic of stories if things can be solved with a snap of a finger
I couldn’t believe Mark & Eve got killed. I had to rewind to make sure i heard correctly. Them being revived so fast kinda killed the mood tho
See everyone next week
Maybe eve was reserved in using her powers so she'd be able to pull something like that off. Like Tsunade in Naruto.
Atom Eve reminds me a lot of Gwen from Ben 10. Not sure which came first but both are red haired energy users that could basically become gods if they chose but still end up staying mostly human.
The Jean Grey/Phoenix effect.
In terms of just the character Gwen came first, but in terms of the revelation that they're that powerful I'm not sure.
@@brandontucker6958but Ben 10 was released in 2005, while Eve appeared in the first volume of this series, if not the first issue of the series, which was released in 2003. Unless I'm mistaken. Plus Gwen didn't get the ability to use Mana until the reboot Alien force which didn't come until 2010+
Thank you Rob! Can't wait til next Sunday!
It's huge missing out on that. I was deployed when my first child was born she was 4 months old when I first met her. That's when I knew I was done after that enlistment.
Thragg went from the invincible *no pun* guy that no group of ppl could defeat to not being able to take on the small Bilyeu mite survivors.
Right on time as I just caught up on all the vol last night.
This story is so good
People want to read the panels too. Please consider giving people a chance to see everything before moving on to another page since you’re especially good at stretching out your speech.
Dam really just 2 videos left man I hope the last 2 are 30 mins a piece
See I was expecting something more like; “they’re essentially dead, and with that we’re gonna bring this to an end”
[This story is amazing! TY✌🏼😎]
Damn, this has been a great series!
