For anyone else doing this, I removed the two screws on the top and bottom of the valve bracket and was able to remove the entire wand and bracket without needing to disconnect the line from the tank. It also made it easier to use a regular adjustable wrench on the nut that holds it to the bracket instead of the special tool.

Yeah, it's definitely the easier / faster way. Just be sure to have a Philips #1 for the 4 x M3 screws

fyi when removing the wand nut, position the valve body on the wrench so the wrench handle is stable on the table. This gives you more leverage on the nut and saves your knuckles. The part moves when the tool moves.

Great Video! Just wondering on the size of the deep socket (nut size) you use to remove/replace the brass hex nut that essentially holds the assembly in the machine from the front?
    Thanks.

The socket was 31/32" and was a tad loose but enough to break the nut and tighten it back up. My guess is it's actually 15/16" or 22mm. Short of removing and measuring, I don't have a deep socket I can check with....if I ever find out, will re-post.

We manufacture an improved extension screw - alcafe.com/en/a2001 as the original is soft brass

Hi Minh - I'm not familiar with your issue. Is it loose because the knob or valve threads are worn? Or is it loose because the nut that seats the valve stem to the knob is not properly tightened? Those are the only things I can think of.

Hi, I’m currently having an issue with my group head number 1 dispensing no water. I cleaned the gigleur, and checked the solenoids to see that they activate; and they do, but no water at group 1. I have water at group 2 though. Even after turning both bleed screws & filling to release pressure, It’s been a week and the issue keeps stumping me 😭 just wondering if you can throw any helpful tips my way
