Have you noticed Tesla drivers find it hard to resist the urge to acknowledge each other out on the road? It's pretty clear that the Tesla family knows they've got a good thing going on. It must be nice being the cool kids on the block...

I used to do the leaf nod.. But have to admit that Tesla adds to the nod creds!
Us S2000 owners do a nod, flash headlights, and even chat in parking lots and lift up hoods lol

I'm glad to have helped you. Bit of advice write some goals down and categorize them from short to long term goals. Then devise a goal statement that has a time period of reaching your goals. Read it at least twice a day. Also, a dream board that you can see everyday will keep you focused on the prize and finally have several positive affirmations that you say to yourself several times a day. This will get you through the ups and downs. Good luck.

Waved to another model 3 owner once, since delivery last week. Been giving thumbs up before owning but guess I'll flash or honk too. A couple Model S drivers on this weekend didn't seem to care

Six months ago in Los Angeles, it was always a nod or a wave. These days you can have 3 Model S' at a red light and nobody even looks. There's just way too many of them now, which is a good thing.....I guess.
Great Car, love it, but engineerwise, nothing groundbreaking. I'm amazed that Tesla manages to produce vehicles with outstanding build quality.
hehe funny :) I am too shy to look left and right at the stops. I feel as if the entire world is watching me lol so I play it cool. All I really wanna do is say hello with just a smile moving only lips area no show teeth :) but nowadays it freaks ppl out so I don't do it unless they are elderly.

This is a Volkswagen-esque type of thing. Not only product is important, you need to create a strong fan-base, who will stand and fall for Tesla even if they driving something else at the moment. Look how it works for VeeDub, their owners are mostly like maniacs about their technology. Even me, not being capable to afford Tesla, already am a fan of the way they are doing things :)

There are countless ways to be in the position to own your very own Tesla. You just have to be open to the opportunities that came your way or you just have to do your research. I just want to tell you never say never. The opportunities are out there you just have to find them or be open to them.

You're right. I'm a little on edge at the moment.
I'm still a little overemotional from finding out the mathematical inevitability of the dollar (also, any other base-currency in history has) crashing - and possibly within 10 years. I'm not American, but the dollar is the anchor currency so all currencies will crash shortly after which will ensure a crisis that will have big influence on how the world is going to be after that. It's both frightening and exciting.
